Yea that Meigs game took to much out of TC last year. That was an ice tube type of game then went and had some type of game with Peabody less than a week later was too much. I wish there was a week off before the Blue Cross bowl I think it would give teams to a chance to prepare and become a little bit more healthy and it would make for a better game overall.

I think #5 has gained his speed back from that ACL injury he looks great.

Especially after tonight.

Were there some injuries in practice or just holding some starters out of scrimmage since they have 3 scrimmages counting the jamboree in the next two weeks.

Yea they did and most of those kids graduated as well. I'm not going to over hype a team just because we play them. TC lost kids to graduation just like H20 has but we have more depth. I was at scrimmage I seen the O-line this year and they seem to be more physical this year maybe because of the offense TC is running but the whole team is more physical this year. The offensive line will be fine. With Watertown, it's not possible that they will have a better team than what they did last year. I don't think TC will blow them out by 40 something points but I see TC winning by at least 10-14 points.

Macon and Smith are having their own jamboree this year. Gallatin is heading to take on Creasy in a jamboree.

I would they don't have the talent this year to beat TC or Tyner. Watertown will be finished in the second round at Tyner.

Watertown won't be a problem I'm more worried about Meigs and Tyner. Watertown lost too much offense and will struggle to score points on TC this season.

Very smart I just don't see Watertown winning more than 6 or 7 games. Like I said you'll take a step back and not make it past the second round of the playoffs. Watertown season will end at Tyner this year.

I know you'll give TC a good game. You'll be the only test on the TC schedule. After week 3 we will know a lot more about both teams. In the first week if Gordy beats you'll I take back everything I just said.

They lost way too much talent they will take a huge step back. ER has a very good WR that will be the difference. Watertown may beat ER but ER will battle Watertown for the second spot but I think ER will have the better record.

Both teams are to physical to scrimmage each other im happy the coaches were blowing the whistle early on some plays.

Yes, we had some issues on defense, with passing last year. TC defense is a zone and it causes a lot of turnovers but gives up some passing yards but it shuts the run game completely down. Last season against Tyner they had a WR that's committed to the University of Miami we held him to 1 catch for 15 yards. TC lost 2 starters to graduation and another DB to injury last year against Peabody that won't play this year.

They will be a good team I just think they will have a problem with teams that have speed and make LC defense play sideline to sideline. Great size and on offense LC will eat you up on defense if you play man to man coverage. LC is the type of team if you try to go straight at their defense you will have a long day. LC line had some problems with TC blitzing. But SP isn't in the same area as TC but we have had some great games with SP and TC has never played Greenback far as I know.

How was Meigs scrimmage?

Most of the kids that were out with injuries were younger kids. One lineman for TC did go down but he came back in and played. I think one of the secondary kids that played a lot last year had knee surgery and wasn't dress out.

Ford had a few carries he looks good. Juice didn't get any offensive touches but he showed out on defense along with all the LB. The line needs some work but they look better than I thought they would. Hicks has some speed a lot of it needs to work on his pitches to RB has 3 fumbles. Rainey looks great at FB broke a long run and look like he has his speed back. The secondary needs to work on passes down the field other than that they look good still need some work but TC will have a very good season this year.

Yes, a lot of fumbles. But with reps, both teams will fix that problem. TC fumbled. 2-3 times on a pitch play but LC caused one of those with a timely hit.

They scored twice when they were down at goal the line they didn't place the ball back from some reason i think both teams were trying to get some defense/offense goal-line work in. And overall with the whole scrimmage, it was tied 3-3 LC second-team offense scored twice.
