We had a great district last year with Gleason and Dresden. Then the tssaa decided Huntingdon is in middle Tennessee now. It's not right to make us give up our traditional rivalries especially in football. We don't feel very welcomed when we cross the river. We should be playing at Trinity!

Better check your sources. I was told Dresden refused to play the Fillies by our athletic director. We need to play every year great rivalry. We beat Gleason by 25 last time we played. I wish we were playing in Jackson this week. I hate being a middle Tennessee team. Our regional is in Lawrenceburg. Fillies would love to mix it up with y'all this week win or lose.

If anyone is being overlooked it's the Huntingdon Fillies, 22-1 with lone loss being a great Greenfield team which schooled us. Beat Gleason and Gibson Co both 3 times. Dresden scared to play us. We're tall and fast and capable of beating anybody if we figure it out and get hot.

Loretto must be vastly improved since the Huntingdon Christmas tournament where they lost to Gibson Co big. Huntingdon beat Gibson Co by 19 in the tournament.

I need to make plans for Friday night. Is Collinwood coming to Huntingdon or are they gonna cancel the game like they did to us last week!

Trinity is a little slow. Best teams in west Tennessee are the fastest teams. Greenfield, Huntingdon and Peabody are I think the quickest teams around. Speed is the difference maker. Huntingdon shouldn't have to run a half court offense as fast as they are but don't try to run.

Mckenzie has some good young players but the one to watch is their middle school point guard. The real deal!

Mckenzie is improving beat Stewart Co saturday. Will probably be a tough out for your # 3 team.

Have you ever played the game?

Maybe the Fillies will put in a post season play so we will have 1 play. Only plays we run are out of bounds plays. Our scheme is to just to go out there and get open. Have to have a very talented team to get away with that and we usually do. Teams like Greenfield can take our game away from us. Very well coached like I'm sure Summertown is. Shaping up to be a Summertown Huntingdon battle in the region 6 tournament. Should be a great game the fillies can play great pressure defense if they want to. Very tall fast but raw Huntingdon team against a great shooting tough defensive team like Summertown. Both teams are deep so should be a good up and down game. Can't wait

Fillies got schooled. Greenfield took our inside game away from us and we never adjusted. Never do! With the exception is Smith we don't score the ball well from the perimeter. We don't teach shooting technique in Fillie land. Greenfield on the other hand is talented and very well coached. The jackets are improving and are going be tough down the stretch.

I was present and it was ugly. We got Greenfield at home tonight and I'm worried about it. The jackets are playing outstanding ball now with Moore really stepping up. They've had some big wins over the holidays. Two very talented girls teams playing tonight so come on over.

Well coached teams don't get shell shocked. We didn't have a clue what to do.

After watching the Huntingdon Fillies beat Gleason by 25 and Gibson Co by 19 on consecutive nights I think they are going to be a very tough out for anyone in region 6. These girls are long and can really run. Got 7 quality players that can play for anybody. Got Greenfield at home Tuesday night. The jackets are playing very well and it should be a great game. If the Fillies can beat the jackets then you better watch out!

Attended the Gibson Co Loretto game this afternoon at the Huntingdon Christmas tournament. Gibson Co ended up winning by 10. Gibson Co is a great defensive team, very well coached. Loretto played a very griddy game. Thought at half they would get blown out the 2nd half. To their credit they never quit and played Gibson Co pretty even the 2nd half. Great tournament. To win this tournament Huntingdon will have to beat Riverside, Gleason and Gibson Co. Pretty tough run!

Child is asst basketball coach and head softball coach. Softball bad underachieved last season also.

Slightly above average talent! The Fillies program has had a run of talent you maybe get every 50 years if you're lucky. This year we've got 8 or 9 talented kids that can run. We made state last year and looked like Ned and the first reader! These girls deserve better coaching. Huntingdon hasn't figured out that you don't just hire someone to coach basketball you hire a basketball coach.

Jan 02 Greenfield vs Huntingdon game at Huntingdon should be a classic. Last time we can play until hopefully the state tournament. Huntingdon used to be in west Tennessee. I guess everybody east of the Gibson Co line is now middle Tennessee!

Also attended this game. Tournament atmosphere! Greenfield up by 15 at end of 1st qt. Game pretty even the rest of the way. Greenfield improved since they played the Fillies. Moore was on a different level than I've seen her. She drained some NBA threes ! Darby had to sit a big portion of the game with fouls. Impressive win by Greenfield. When Moore plays at this level the jackets are gonna be hard to beat.

Huntingdon Coca-Cola Christmas Tournament has Loretto in it along with Gibson Co, Gleason and Riverside. Think it's a tournament format. Should be interesting.

Huntingdon is a strong rebounding team with a number of players between 5'10" and 6 ft. Everyone can run. Very athletic team. Not a great shooting team. We don't teach shooting technique in Fillie land. You just throw it up their anyway you want. We don't out coach you we out athlete you. Sometimes talent beats coaching we've got our fingers crossed!

Huntingdon Fillies with a big week beating Greenfield and Gleason on the road. Both Greenfield and Gleason are improved from last season and very solid well coached teams. Fillies are big fast and deep although we don't use our bench like we should. #11 has a very high ceiling.
