Summertown defending champion and favorite to win tennis- golf - volleyball and ranked # 1 in softball - lots of gold missing from trophy case this year but it is what it is

Just give Gold Ball to Summertown you know they’re gonna win 1A softball

Kaley Campbell / we did beat Loretto so we no slough as you indicated / started freshman in her place who played great but still just a freshman / had no seniors so maybe she get back next year so could come in 3rd in your district

Summertown lost best player to acl injury and had hard time recovering / know your facts before you brag toooo much

Summertown beat Eagleville by 35plus both times so don’t brag too much / but we not going there / you headed to boro we not / amazing how that one and done game can jump up and bite you

Richland keep it close for 3 quarters but wear down at end ( I agree got one of best guards in A )

I remember what Lou Holtz said “ when you try trick plays or junk defenses that means you don’t think you good enough to win the usual way “

I predict one ( and only one ) upset on your top teams wonder who it will be ???

Summertown can attest to the no fouls on HDon they had 3 and pressed we had 10t oh well / but again knew it would be no contest

Summertown beat both Eagleville & Moore Co by 35 & could have been by 50 so don’t think either have any problems advancing

Don’t think Loretto shoot like Summertown last night plus way to big on the boards / name your score for Loretto win / Summertown beat Richland by 20 plus both times / don’t know bout Jo Burns but both should have walkovers

To bad one of these be left out where others play patsies in other regions but when rely on TSSAA and they put 2 strong distinct together so weak regions have chance to go but substrate usually weeds them out anyway

Neither team at state yet probably will but stranger things have happened

Happened at Summertown gym ( which is very small ) fell into wall underneath basket while trying to block shot - we been promised new gym for last 4 years wonder haven’t been more injuries

Had compression fracture went home with neck brace prognosis good but keep her in your prayers

Stown don’t necessarily concentrate on basketball / won State Championships recently in volleyball tennis golf softball / sometimes that’s why late jelling with so much overlap while others play one sport all year

The younger girls ( mean elementary school age kids ) so look up to these hs players they want to be just like them when they grow up /can’t describe the look on their faces just to be close to them or even touch them / that’s what keeps the tradition alive year after year

Who would have thought Frierson would be best ref / other 2 like me too fat to get in position to make calls

Wonder where Loretto be w/o Weathers ( not wishing that on anybody ) love to watch her play - Summertown mentality next player up
