On another note.....that kind of effort in the second half on offense and the whole game on defense is what I’ve been waiting for since before the Marshall county game. It’s playoff time and the young men have seemed to flip their November switch to on last night. Let’s go make a run!

After watching the tv replay this morning, I found it funny what CW’s QB told the tv guys before the game; “if we put our foot down Springfield will lay down”. He got what he wanted, he put his foot down and Springfield laid him on his back for most of the night.

Rematch of last years first round, I’m expecting the same results.....big convincing win. Springfield needs to keep building momentum into the playoffs, This game should keep fanning the fire into round 2

Game day. Hoping for a safe competitive game tonight, with both teams cling out injury free heading into the playoffs. I honestly feel like Springfield is a 2-3 scores better, but a game of this magnitude you never know. Go Jackets!

I like his Springfield score as well......I feel like we are 3 scores better than CW, but I don’t know if we will be tonight. Cold and damp conditions, just hoping for a W anyway we can.

From my an unbiased point of view. Why don’t you take your own advice and let the TSSAA do their job and stop spreading hear say or just tell the good people what “your” facts are. If Milan is in violation, I hope they get the “hammer” dropped on them. Never had the stomach for cheaters.

Not looking past our game with Creek Wood at all, both Springfield and Creek Wood will have tough match ups potentially in the second round if it plays out has it should. Hardin County and Lexington are the best they’ve been since we’ve been paired with region 6. That’s why, to me, the Creek Wood game for Springfield is huge. Not only will the winner get a region title, but the first two playoff games are at home. Playing against really good teams, it’s imperative to have every advantage.

I’d say so. There’s enough talent on that team that they should never go winless and very rarely not make the playoffs

I’ve heard, not personally seen, that he’s great when he’s got protection and plenty of time but when he’s pressured he’s not very good and makes poor decisions. Any truth to that, I’m not critiquing just wondering?
