  1. I do feel like greenbrier is the better team and “should” win......but you never know
  2. I saw that in the 4th qt and figured the same thing. That kind of stuff is inexcusable period.
  3. Not making excuses.BOTH teams did play in it. ONE team was obliviously the MORE dominant team moving the ball on offense and stopping the opposing team on defense. Springfield fumbled probably 5-6 times and had probably 10 high snaps that probably cost them around -75 yards alone. If you think the field conditions, heavy down pours and pig pen mud, didn’t have anything to do with it not being a blowout......I’ll hang up and listen.
  4. Agreed %100^^. I think Springfield had more fumbles and turnovers in this game, than they’ve had all year long combined. Add in their inexcusable penalties they had and they played their sloppiest game in a long time.
  5. Going to be a battle again just like last year. Lots of eyes from region 6 going to be watching this. Who ever wins sets up who gets to play the first two rounds at home and, pending on getting past the first, setting up some huge second round matchups with most likely Lexington and Hardin county.
  6. We’re usually good for about one TV game a year. It’s usually the clarksville vs Springfield game (longest running series in the state I believe, something like 97 games played). I’m glad we got one again this year. Going to be a heck of a ball game for sure.
  7. I’m just telling the truth......field is horrible always has been in the rain for 30 years.
  8. Really? Rain does that? Makes things wet and muddy, learn something new every day.
  9. 7-0 Springfield about half through the 2nd qt. We ought to be up by 28.....have had high snaps, fumbles, etc......field conditions are horrible
  10. Greenbrier’s field is horrible....straight swamp. The jackets are playing terrible right now
  11. I think the score gap will be a little wider than that, maybe more like 3-4 scores in the jackets favor. I do agree the starters get the job done and the backups get some good reps. The jackets have way to much speed for the bobcats has usual.
  12. It will be decided next week between them and north side. The winner is 3rd and looser is 4th
  13. I agree Haywood played a very undisciplined 1st qt, they ought to be up 65-0 at the half. South Side just isn’t very good at all.
  14. Idk I haven’t seen them or SGC in person. But going by stats, not scores, and what I’ve read about both; SGC wins easily barring a total melt down.
  15. Agreed....I know they’ve played quality teams, but there lone win was a struggle against subpar competition.
  16. Looks about right. I think the Creek Wood vs Portland will be closer, something like 28-14 or 35-21 in Creek Woods favor. CW seems to have more trouble with a run dominant offense.
  17. You are 100% correct, White House is terrible. I’m not one for comparing teams by who they beat, not saying you are either, but SGC should beat FRA by 3 scores.
  18. I agree with JacketLover, WH has to have 9 to have a chance......if not they better call Jimmy Swaggart and pray for a miracle because it’s going to be a blowout.
  19. I’m guessing they won’t put them in the Chattanooga region in 4A because of the time change. To me that would make the most sense, except for the time difference
  20. In 99-00 seasons Springfield was in the upper Cumberland region. Livingston, Dekalb county, York, and Macon county.......very long road trips
  21. I really think Springfield and Station Camp will move into region 6 with Beech and Gallatin having to move up.
