Five. About 2 to many, but that’s a whole other subject.

White House. Clarksville is the longest running game with Springfield played like 80 something times except for last year because of covid. But Springfield vs White House is a bigger rivalry imho. The schools are close and it use to be “the” game of the year. The stadium is always packed out when they play each other, no matter If it’s a home or away game. Sad part is they won’t play each other for whatever reason when they’re not in the same region.

It’s been fun with all the HC posters this week. Glad to see these teams back playing every year again, at least for the next little bit. This will turn into a more competitive rivalry with how the program is now compared to previous years with the Wilson brothers being more established and the program back on solid ground. Once again safe travels to all the Henry county faithful and has always Go Jackets!

I personally like the Depot. Torino’s is another good place. They have the “Charlie’s” style steaks if you’re familiar with the old Charlie’s steak house that was in Oak Grove that burned several years ago. They also serve Italian food too

No noise makers are allowed what so ever from either side, i got the email this morning. And yes there will be plenty of security usually 10-15 Robertson county deputies, probably more for This game with a big crowd.

Both teams have had a heck of a season up to this point. Remember one group of seniors had there last football practice today, and that’s something they’ll remember from now on. Looking for a hard fought, injury free, game tomorrow night with the winner hopefully representing our region in Chattanooga. Safe travels from Paris and has always Go Jackets!

Going to be one heckuva game. Looking for a packed out stadium for sure.

I know the brothers Wilson and staff will have a good game plan tonight to handle Memphis Central’s strong run game. Going to be a tough one but one game at a time! Safe travels to any Central fans making the long trip. Go Jackets!

Bingo! Best place to have it period. The geographical location is fair for both sides of the bracket. Parking is not an issue, venue is awesome and it would be a great experience for the teams that earn the right to play in the game. Plenty of places to eat and stay close to the venue.

What was so impressive was that Portland had 5 Mr. Football winners in a four year span. Kelly Holmes and Gerald Turner in 98, Luke in 1999, Chase Brooks in 2000, and Josh Bolton in 2001. I can’t remember any school having a run like that.

Looking forward to seeing Central’s running attack, with #10 being a top back in the state, against Springfield’s D. The brothers Wilson always have good defenses, but this years edition could possibly be the best that has been at Springfield in 30 years or more. Never saw a more sound, disciplined bunch on that side of the ball in Springfield. Maybe @LEON could give his thoughts on this unit compared to past Defenses since his historical knowledge of Jacket football is the best around. Looks like the offense has found a rhythm since the Portland, and play calling has came around thankfully. They are finally at full strength and clicking along. Hopefully it will carry into a deep playoff run.

Glad to see the HC posters back to their normal selves, after all the doom and gloom a couple weeks ago. Good luck to the Patriots tonight.

I’m only looking for a win. I don’t care if it’s by a point or 100 points, just win. Any team can upset another over the next few weeks. The Jackets O will need to be clicking as good as the D in the playoffs to make a run. Time to start the Brown grass season in Springfield! Let’s go Jackets!

I know I great those 17’ and 18’ teams were and if this team is better, there’s not but a handful of teams in any classification statewide that can compete with them. No disrespect to any team, but that’s just another level of high school football.
