Plus, with catcher Dave Banks, McCallie might as well be competing with the pros. This kid is the most solid catcher i have ssen in years. After hitting a pop time of 1.89 last year as a junior, and recently signing to wofford with a scholarship, I think this young man will have a large role in leading McCallie to a state championship victory this year.

If you are going up against McCallie this year, you might as well give up. After losing only 2 seniors, McCallie has no choice but to take state with ease.

Yeah...that brings up a good point. I think it is ridiculous how people feel the need to nag and complain about the teams who won, or the all-american players. Like kaplan said, that is terrible sportsmanship, and plus, those who won, deserved to win. For example, somebody (im not mentionaing any names) posted all of the people who deserve all american honors more than sam sawyer(#19 from MUS) and why. That is sooooo pathetic because I know personally, because i am a mccallie boarder from memphis and used to go to MUS, that sam sawyer works his BUTT of everyday, and he deserved every ounce of that title. I know people are upset because they got "screwed" out of getting All-state or All- American honors, but if you didnt get it that means your coach doesn't think you deserve it, and you should get out there and make it happen. I'm going to do you all a favor and stop preaching now. H-pup

I know it seems crazy but i was watching some of the film from botht he final and semifinal games and i think taylor is a lot calmer and more focused on the team and not himself. Rainer can get a little bit crazy sometimes and although that is good, you dont want it to get out of hand. (which he lets it do a lot)
