Heard from credible source Meigs offered to move game to sequatchie week. Bledsoe would rather cry than play.

I guess best way for Bledsoe to save face is back out. Truth is everybody taunts to Tiger in the cage but when the door gets open they run and hide. Maybe we can have a spelling contest?

East only 1.Meigs- just keep re-loading have lost 2 regular season games since 2016! Unreal talent 2. Marion- speed and the beating they gave 5A Rhea showed true potential. 3. Hampton- big, big!! QB overlooked; May be best secret in 2A 4/5. Trousdale/Watertown. Excitement in Hartsville seems fever pitch.

Why does this thread have ANYTHING to do w South Pitt or Oneida? We don’t play SP (1-1) last 2 years or Oneida (haven’t lost to them since 2015).

I think you guys have that backwards. From what I heard, don’t know and didn’t come from anyone in the know, but Just as Sequatchie and Cumberland before, SP couldn’t fit Meigs in their schedule plans.

Saw some of Meigs guys out working yesterday. Those 2 or 3 new guys are huge. That’ll be the biggest line they’ve had in years. It’s April but August is on the way.

Only had 2 cities put in for it. I was at the private school basketball at Tech this year and really liked it. I loved the games at Vandy and at Cookeville. Never really liked MTSU for football. However, having in at TN Tech you knew you were in a safe environment. Nuff said

I know this is a football board but thanks to Coacht scoreboard I found this info. In the last 5 years. Couldn’t find info on our golf or tennis team. Maybe Coach J could help w that. does anyone else have this kind of success across the board? Had to look this up and brag a little. May have to build a bigger trophy case . My opinion of who wins this tournament... it doesn’t matter my opinion ... it matters who scored the most in each game. Meigs County born and bred and when I die I’ll be Meigs County dead

TSSAA is a group of overpaid, outdated, and over influenced group whose major concern is where can they get lunch with the biggest discount. The worse than them, are the directors of schools, principals and athletic directors who don’t stand up for their schools and communities because they THINK the TSSAA may give them an award someday. Shame on every director who doesn’t stand up for their schools.

I’m really kinda shocked by Martin west view QB. Hope to see them in state title game— thank goodness Peabody’s gone. My question is how does a 5⭐️ not have a better record. Surely the kids around him aren’t that bad. Does he not make his team mates better? Again I’d like to see Meigs vs Alabama for the gold.

That was a great program back in the day. One of my nephews played with oldest Riley at MTSU and went to some games up there. Said it was a site to see. I watched them play Rhea County when they were both powers

Fitz was only upset because we were in that region and finished 2nd behind MC and were very happy to stay there but then they moved us. Our results would have been the same but now we have to redevelop rivalry base.

We’ve lost 5 games in 4 years... who besides Peabody (deservedly) can say that?

It’ll be ok. Meigs has been moved to region 3 so someone from region 1 or 2 can get to semis. Kinda like getting that participation trophy. If the competition gets too tough just pout, cry and whine until they move the big bad tigers. Don’t act like there weren’t teams doing this... you’d think you’d learn; now this group will be the “stepping stone” or rest week before finals.

I’m hoping you’re right. We beat that S.p. Team so that bodes well for the Tigers.

Final thoughts before I settle in for a long winters nap. Peabody is a beast. Players play hard, coaches have system they coach and stay with and fans are loyal to their team. For all my pickings I wish you guys continued success. In the last 2 years you have earned my respect. 2 years ago you beat us by stopping Swafford in the 2nd half and pounding us, this year you totally stopped our running game for 3 quarters and put us away with Vaughn. Total respect for your program. Now for my Meigs Tigers—- We fought with our claws until the very end. Seniors left their mark, and did what they had watched since their freshman year. Protect the tradition, play EVERY game hard and never give up. Now for the next class up- Follow the lessons you’ve been taught, don’t allow your own arrogance to take away lessons you should have been learning since your freshman year. You have been given the keys to the machine by 3 tremendous classes in a row 13-1,13-2,14-1. It’s your job to now follow the path. Coaches, find the piece to the puzzle and don’t try to fit the round piece in the square hole. We’ve been really good because what you’ve done... now let’s get back. Meigs fans- keep the faith. It too Davis (ring master) many trips before he got it done- yes he had Ashley but he also had some pretty good ones before, during and after. August ain’t far away.
