I’m glad we have a great field because this weather the next few days will cause some problems for some folks. It is going to be real wet.

Here is new information on the illegal man down field issue. They told boys they could Not cross line of scrimmage at all on a pass. I thought it was beyond 3 yards and then a penalty. If that has changed I’m unaware of that rule change.

The McKenzie team I saw Friday night and the Adamsville team that I saw early in the season could be a good game. I wouldn’t be surprised if Adamsville comes out with a W especially if they don’t shore up their D. UC racked up over 500 yards of offense against McKenzie. Had a 60 yard TD run called back for a holding call and had a 60 yard TD pass called back for a very questionable illegal man down field. UC had 26 first downs to McKenzie 16.

The games I have seen of your d line I would say more than 230. Johnson is 330 from what I’ve read.

By all indications we have had a good week of practice. It is going to be a tough and tall task to knock off the champs. They are huge up front but that is something we are used to. In five games we have played we have only played one team that we are bigger than up front. One of the best coached teams in the state For sure. One thing is for certain we will not roll over. Oh I’m not hurt by LC posters picking Peabody. They are definitely the favorite here and are #1 in the state. The post I was referring to was Basically talking about UC not being competitive in 2a in which I reminded them we won the 2a title in 2017 and beat the 2a champs in 2014 during the regular season. I think that 2014 possibly wins the 3a title too.

These Lake Co folks crack me up. We won’t the 2a title in 2017. Yes we were 1a in 2013 and 2014. I believe we beat the 2a state champs then as well. Also beat a Nashville Christian team that had several division 1 players on it. Lake Co didn’t want any this year.

Is there a limit to ticket purchasing for your home games

I watched a little of y’all’s game with them this weekend. They are very fast and fly to the ball. Discipline is an issue I would say with their assignments but their athleticism helps compensate for that. I think if we can grind out long drives and keep the ball out of their hands we can win. If we can win the line of scrimmage battle like you all did we can win. If we don’t it will be a tough night.

Uc picked up USJ for a Memphis teams cancellation not the lake co cancellation

We fumbled the ball 11 times last year and it was mainly center to QB exchanges. I am glad this one is at home and hope all goes well so we get in another region game. I think UC wants some revenge for this one. I am calling we put together our best outing this year and win big.

They are usually always big and have always had at least one really great athlete on the field. I think they were 6-5 last year and not thinking they will lay down for us.

Is McKenzie that much improved from last year? If they are not then Peabody rolls from what I saw in the Milan game. Granted I have not seen McKenzie play.

This years 8th grade group is real good too. One of the fasted running backs I’ve ever seen in middle school and we have one lineman 6 3 272 and another 6 foot 250
