First off, hats off to Greenback! They are a great team and very respectful with good sportsmanship (coaches, players, and fans alike). Secondly, I've read 31 pages of mostly nonsense on this thread. From what I've read Cville is the better team. They are stronger, faster, tougher, and hit harder than anyone in the state. Whitwell should probably save themselves the trouble and hotel bill and just forfeit. My understanding is that the fans have already given up and won't show up. That all being said, people should know that Whitwell does not take a team lightly that they are about to play, especially this late in the game. Thundur can hit as hard as anyone I've seen, he just literally runs Over them. Petty just stops them in their tracks, and that doesn't include what Brayden, Bryant, Jace and a whole host of other Tigers like to do when it comes to hitting. Their speed is also pretty good. Let the backfield break through and chances are you won't catch them. And the fan support is pretty great as well. We even have our neighbors support who will also travel well (except of course SC Pride 30, whom I don't believe would be happy for anyone and probably got picked on as a chubby child or something). Just wanted to put all that out there since Wingo and just a few more have been on here to come back at the exhaustive sunshine coming from CB10.

He made that comment on the chicken and biscuit poll that Raceway has going this week. He didn't jump out there making that statement. Everyone has been throwing numbers out on that poll trying not to duplicate each other. Most of the numbers are ridiculous and they know that. BTW, I've never been an Indian lol

I'm not sure where the info about Whitwell expecting to mercy rule SP is coming from but it's not what most if ANY that I talk to think. These boys know it will be a tough game.

Regardless of what it says, you only show your ticket for the senior all American bowl. They want all the underclassmen parents to buy a ticket for the senior bowl thinking they need it for the others.

I'm not from your area but my son goes to these camps as well. The $15 ticket is only for the All American Bowl, you don't need anything but a smile to watch the underclassmen. I do know that Offense -Defense is actively looking for another location around the Chattanooga area. Seems they aren't too happy with the venue in Nashville. Do you have any ideas for a location? I agree that other kids need to go to these camps.

TSSAA states "admission charged or athletes selected from specified teams" Basically, if the campers could afford a second camp they could go. I think it's a shame what happened to the Memphis team. These kids work hard to get to the next level and shouldn't be penalized, especially with exposure available.

Not trying to insult your intelligence. The underclassmen don't even scrimmage the same day or even the same field as the All American Bowl. It's all a money grabbing marketing tool. The parents pay for the younger kids to go to the camp and at the end they get to watch the Seniors. Its to make the kids (and parents) hungry so they'll keep paying for camps and hopefully get to the All American Bowl when they are seniors.

The TSSAA states that admission has to be charged and the players must be selected from a team. These kids are not selected from their teams at all.
