  1. They have the largest number of seniors that has came through in a while. Losing the three year starter at qb was a definite blow to the morale. However, the team has rallied and looks to be embracing the change at QB.
  2. Who are the Jackets scrimmaging this spring?
  3. So you're saying you don't want one of the winningest coaches of all time at a private school, that is a known recruiter??
  4. Numbers in those games were actually better than the first part of the year. Kid did nothing but get better all year. He has 18 seniors for a supporting cast this season that have done nothing but improve as time went on as well. No, we aren't talking a private school or a traditional powerhouse, but with him as the focus and and a very good and dynamic QB, the football team should and better be on the competition's radar this season. Didn't get boat raced by Tyner either. Very competitive and good game. I can see the 35-13 as looking as such, but whatever. Watertown ant TC was just as advertised and they met up in quarter finals and proved it. For every person that looks at his stats and doesn't watch him play they are missing out. He is a better defensive player and great teammate. He does the small things in games as well.
  5. You saying playing TC, Watertown, and Tyner isn't playing competition? The scores really don't indicate his numbers against each of them. Trust me the coaches of those teams saw his true potential Big Dawg.
  6. Porter is putting a positive spin on a bad situation. It is a classy move by a man with class. He loves the program he has built so much that he wants to make the best out of a touchy situation. I tend to agree with those who think that this was a forceful move and put into place way before everyone found out. A lot of times when a change comes at the top level of management, the understudies strike while the iron is hot. Much to be seen if the "old guard" in BDP country will embrace and come to rescue the new guy that follows Porter when he needs help for this and that!
  7. The more I think about this game and weather. I'm thinking the spread should be Trousdale -7.5 to 8. The Jackets can play totally to Tyner's weakness (if they have one). It could be a quick game time wise if TC wants to pound away. However, Tyner does have the athletes to strike TC in a way no one has been able to all year. I just don't think the will power of 1 and 11 on offense can take over a game like they have all year. I know that's not all they have, but those are the ones that can take a game on by themselves.
