When I look at the Coach T Scoreboard it says 77-72 in favor of White County?

You are correct. Too many variables to predict a straight up winner most of the time. I know we have had our share of unexpected losses. Gotta play every game every minute. Can't take anything for granted. We have Red Boiling tomorrow night and I expect them to give us all we want. As you, I am praying for injury free tournaments for all players. Be safe and good luck to you Pioneer. Hope we both end up watching our teams at Murphy Center

As last night proved you never know Pioneer what's going to happen. It's tournament time. I hope Clarkrange makes it thru but you just don't ever know. I think everyone can be beat. I think everyone has a shot. All it takes is one bad game by a team and the whole tournament gets turned around. Clay is a very good team and well coached. Hate to see them go home. Congrats to Trousdale girls. They played hard and deserved the win the game. Good luck to everyone left in the tournament. We will see how it shakes out

Shawn Monday that played for Clarkrange in the 80's is their aunt. Dad is current girls assistant coach Shayne Monday.

Jackson County is dangerous. They can turn a game around in a New York minute. A lot of the games in this district have been way closer than the final score shows. Will be some great games coming up. Hope everyone stays healthy and injury free.

Just want to wish everyone in Class A good luck in the tournaments. Praying for the players with injuries and sickness. I hope we all can enjoy some great district/regional games coming up and thru the state tournament. IMO it's anybody's championship to win. I think we can all agree Class A has some great teams, players, and coaches. I'm a Clarkrange fan, but more importantly I am a fan of all kids trying to play the game they love and wish them along with the parents, coaches, fans, etc safe travels. May we all be blessed with good health, no injuries, good sportsmanship, and a little less rain. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I've seen some good exciting games in the White County gym over the years Warrior. White County has alot of tradition and has had some of the best players in the state come through there. Good luck to you all going forward. Great program

The Clarkrange team that beat the Stone team last night played the game with six players. All from Clarkrange. All attended South Fentress Elementary. The 19-20 Clarkrange team does not have a player from outside of Fentress County on the team. A couple attended elementary schools on the North end of the county and chose to go to their county high school instead of York. Alot of schools get players from different places at different times. Just as some at Stone in the past came from CCHS fed elementary schools. We are talking about the game last night. I don't cry the "little school" bit but I also don't cry the "players go there from other places" bit either when other schools have kids from different places on their teams and beat Clarkrange. "Little ole Clarkrange" has something other teams don't have that set them apart and that is Coach Lamar Rogers. Clarkrange was the better team last night and its not because they have anyone from another town. Just ask Mike Buck...who played at "little ole Clarkrange".

Was a very good fast paced game to watch. Mike Buck is one of my favorite coaches anywhere. He has such a high basketball IQ and knows what adjustments to make to help his teams win. Last night was Clarkrange's night. May be a different story when they go to Stone. Clarkrange and Coach Lamar Rogers are very tough to beat when they are clicking on all cylinders. The Monday twins are a well oiled machine. They run off motors and can hit from anywhere. Congrats to Clarkrange. Last night they beat a great ball team with a great coach. Stone is one of the best teams around. Good luck to them in the tournaments. Will be rooting for you

I agree it is a tough place to play. I saw the Clarkrange/Oneida game at Oneida and the Pickett/Oneida game during Christmas at Pickett. Oneida is a tough team and they keep after the ball. As good as anybody on their home floor. IMO York's new coach has turned that team around. They are a solid ball team that's getting better every game. No doubt he will not let this loss slow them down

I've done things like that myself lol. I wasn't at the game so not sure what happened. I was surprised by it myself. I caught the Clarkrange/Stone game tonight. Some there were saying Oneida controlled the game the entire time and York had a hard time with the Oneida defense. Again this is hear say. I don't know if that is correct. Just second hand talk

It wasn't DeKalb that lost to Oneida. It was York

Thank you pioneer42. I would like to commend you for your comments on coacht. I enjoy reading your comments not only because they are informative, but also because you are fair and dont get on here like alot of people do and only brag on your team and only brag on your team's players. You give credit where credit is due and this is not just about the above post. This is across the board. Some act like the rest of the games shouldn't be played cause we already know the state championship winner and they won't give much credit to anyone other than their own. We've all been guilty at times I suppose of saying things on here we shouldn't, but you my friend keep it classy and respectful and represent what I think these boards should be about. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm not trying to offend anyone. Just acknowledging someone who seems unbiased and gives a fair shot to everyone. Good luck to your team going forward.

I am at the game. No standing ovation or clapping except on the Clarkrange side. Just boos and screaming get off the floor. Guess ALL are not respectful of his accomplishment. Congrats to Coach Rogers!!! Clarkrange LOVES you and we are so very proud of you!!!

Congratulations. I have known Coach Rogers for over 20 years. He obviously is an exceptional coach and as I have learned over the years, he is a good man that has done alot for the youth in his area. Big accomplishment coming from a small town like Clarkrange. Something to be proud of. Hope you have many more wins Coach Rogers. Good luck this season.

We didn't play our best game against Greenfield that's for sure, but hopefully we will get back and do better next time. It shows a lot of class for you and Pioneer42 to take the time to post encouragement and say kind words about our girls on here. Unfortunately, nowdays none of the teams see that enough from others. Congratulations to Gibson County. Great team and well deserved gold ball. Several great teams in the tournament, some had off games at the wrong time, but the best team there won. Can't anybody ever take the fun and excitement of getting that gold ball away from these young ladies. Proud for Single A to be represented by this team as State Champions.

I agree Gibson County plays team ball. Everyone gets involved and they hit very well today. Great team. Look to see them back next year

One of the worst calls I've ever seen! It's getting worse the longer the game goes on. Weathers is a beast. IMO she is the best player in Single A. Only a freshman and has had a tremendous tournament. Win or Lose she should get MVP

I for one don't like it when anyone anywhere is disrespectful to any players. If that went on it should not have. Please know several of us think Moore County has a very good team and fought hard right to the buzzer. Nothing at all to hang their heads about. We are not a wealthy county and don't have the nicest of things. We try to do the best we can with what we are given. Good luck to Moore County next year. Hope everyone had a safe trip home.
