I think it is crazy that etowah fans are talking about the Meigs game in this thread, but they wouldnt even show theirself last week

I believe I’m the one who caused my little buddy oldcharger to state these impossible predictions for etowah. Him not being in this thread should tell you that he knows he might’ve jumped the gun!!!!! I tried to tell him....

Ran out of data so I had to take a week off from the board. We played good against Rockwood after a slow start. Bring it on etowah!! Where is my buddy oldcharger at???? Talked all offseason now he wont come in this thread

My buddy old charger is eerily quiet. Maybe still licking his wounds from last Friday?

What school did you attend? I agree about Meigs sports program. Everyone knows the story about football. Girls basketball is always in sectionals. Boys basketball has had 2 average years in a row, and they lost the stud duck so it may not be pretty this year. Softball is recovering from Ashley leaving. Baseball will be down this year because they lost a monster SR. Class that won lots of ball games.

I recognize how good Willis is and recognize he is Uber talented. I should have worded my post differently and said “only hope to slow him down is to put our best athlete on him,” not stop him. It was really a question about our secondary, not Willis.

Well, that isn’t proven because they’ve never went one on one before. Willis is a good athlete. I wasn’t knocking him.

The kicking game may be the difference! Since GB doesn’t have a solid kicking game, I have no idea who to pick. Obviously rooting for my Tigers, but I don’t know if our secondary can hold up. The best option would just be to line Swafford up across from Willis, but it would wear him down so we shouldn’t do that.

Does GB have a kicking game?

We here in MC are expecting a 21 point blowout win.

I have no idea. I’m a Meigs fan, and my questions were from the point of view of a Meigs fan. Guess we’ll find out Friday.

I’m not ready to make a prediction on the game yet. That’ll come Friday. Couple questions for the game though: Is GB weak on D? Seems so after giving up gobs of points (although I realize Loudon is good on O). Can our DBs step up to the challenge? Swafford is the only proven DB right now. I have faith in them, but Friday is a monstrous challenge. Where will our kicking game come from? We were blessed last year with our one year rental. Kickers are essential.

Our game did not start. Captains walked onto field and were told to go back to the locker room. Players never came back out. Game time is today at 7:30.

I believe I told someone in another thread that Jalen Hunt was the best horse in McMinn County. I got blasted for saying such wrong statements by the etowah folk. It seems as if I was right! I swung by after Meigs game got cancelled.
