Totally agree with your assessment here. I also believe Rhea’s style plays to Powell’s strength, but as you stated, they have to play their assignments. On the other side, I believe Rhea struggles against the pass quite a bit, so that also plays into what Powell does very well. Should be an interesting game, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see a blowout or a close game in the end

Davis sounds like a solid back! I think I saw on the tweeter where Potts (Powell’s QB) had 342 yards passing last night with 5 tds. Nolen on the DL had 7 tackles, 5 for loss, and 3 sacks. Should be an interesting game IMO. Looking forward to it!

I think they played in the 2nd round two years ago with Powell winning that one, right? And absolute truth on going to their place. I went to the Powell game there in 2011. What a haul

Not that anything I’m about to say matters at all, but I at least found it interesting. Powell and Rhea have 5 common opponents this year. Anderson Co, Karns, Campbell Co, Ooltewah, and McMinn Co Powell outscored those teams by 156 points in total, for an average win margin of 31.2 points. Rhea outscored those teams by 81 points in total, for an average win margin of 16.2 points. a solid run game vs a solid pass game. Should be interesting
