Wow three out of the 4 games last night were great contests! So here we are: MTCS at CA: Repeat of week 1 (sorry, week 0) which went to 3OTs. I expect no less from this one. Two very similar teams looking run the ball and control the game but doing it out of different sets on offense. NC at FC: Curtis versus Wolcott. One has 2,500 yds. on the ground, the other 2,500 in the air!

Crazy game, I will have to rewatch in the morning. But there were some strange calls, MTCS did not play that well, but happy to have the W. On t0 CA for another barn burner, I am sure.

Trinity in Jackson is broadcasting on FB live so there must be some loophole.

Preach on! 100% agree. The schools that are running YouTube live have a good product. Clear, very little lag time, can have audio overlay or just run the stadium announcer. @ReitzFan out in West TN speaks out about this all the time.

Woah, woah, woah - don't put him in our camp! Cougars were happy to come to the Beene, and I hope it ends up being a long running series. When I read what he wrote, I was gonna respond, but I'm too old and time is too precious to be arguing with morons.

This will be a good match up. Seems like everyone is focused on offense, but both teams are solid on the defensive side of the ball. I will not be surprised if it is a lower scoring game than most expect. Probably comes down to penalties and turnovers. In the end, I think Jasper pulls it out in a tight one.

Man alive - if folks spent half as much of their time supporting their team as they did fretting about who transferred from one place to the other, all the teams would be in much better shape. Coaches would never have to ask for help to get some of the dirty jobs around the field and stadium done.

Bars - Champy's aint gonna top that. But still worth stopping in before the game. Wonder if some crazy yankees by the name of Kulikowski still live in wears valley?

This is the very reason people should be worried about Oakland. A fundamentally solid team is hard to beat. When they have a chip on their shoulder it's even greater. The second half of Riverdale woke a sleeping beast. MJ will be a bump in the road.

Come on the Boro Friday night! I'll save you one of the good seats and get you fed. But ya know you will have to get out of town before the traffic! A couple of the rides to see the Raiders play were rough this year.

Eagles are playing better ball, but this mountain is a little too high. They will close the gap but will need a couple of big breaks to pull off the upset. That's why they play the game.

Watching JJ's growth in college has been fun. I saw him a handful of times at Oakland, and he was solid, but he has quickly caught the next gear.

Not nearly as new as you! He been trollin awhile. If we want to talk coulda / whoulda - the South Pittsburg game says it all for MTCS. Our Mr. Football nominee and starting right tackle were out. We lost - would it have been different, maybe or maybe not, that is why they play the game. Man goes down, who is next up? Can they carry the load? What will JC look like at CA this week? Who knows, but it will be something different than what we have seen in the past. If frogs had wings.........

That was exciting. I feared that Cleveland would mail it in after being down two scores. Proud of the way they fought back, to close within two. Congratulations to Jeff County on having a solid team this year. Raiders for sure have something to build on and will be fun to watch in the coming year.

Here we go! Round #2, some great games this week! JC at CA: Even with loss of their leading scorer, JC will come to play, but the CA ground pounding may be too much. I'll take CA in this one FACS at MTCS: FACS is pretty balanced with a stable of running backs behind the senior, and almost 1,000 in the air. The MTCS D line will be the difference maker here, and Wilson is healthy at RB. Oh, and I am a homer, so yea, MTCS wins. NC at Trinity: This one is going to be a great game. Like last week it depends on which NC team shows up (the real one showed up in the Boro). Trinity is a disciplined, balanced, machine. This is my upset pick - NC. (sorry Reitz, something here makes me nervous for you guys) DCA at FC: Same results as earlier in the season. If DCA can hold Wolcott to < 150 yds. they might have a chance. But naw, that aint happening. I got FC in this one.

Look no further than D2-A. Friendship Christian RB Wolcott has 2,233 rushing yards on 251 carries, regular season. Last week, they ran him 16 times in a row on two drives. Plays LB on defense, he is a beast. Our candidate, Wilson who was out the game we played at your place, he has 1,473 yards on 95 carries - we spread the wealth like you guys.
