Haven’t seen either play. But have kept up with both. McKenzie in this one. Fayetteville isn’t as good as they look on paper. RedBank was overrated, and they run up the scores in all their games. It classless and they won’t be able to fool McKenzie. Also home field will play an advantage.

So you think a high school kid in the heat of the moment would think to go down and not score? I’ve never seen a high schooler go down instead of score. Also if you can’t cover a kickoff you’re not set to be a good team. You can’t blame coaching if the players just can’t over a kick

2019 Giles in 3a. Made it all the way to the 3rd round. Went to all those playoff games! Was really fun to watch!

I know of a few 3 seeds upsetting 2 seeds. 3A and 4A I know for sure have had some but for 1-2 I can’t think of any. If there was any it would have to be out East teams

Looking at them roster wise they don’t host very many players. Doesn’t seem to be a lot of size either. Their skill position is their best but they don’t match up well with you guys at all. But to be fair most teams don’t haha

Very true! The senior class was very talented as well. I also forgot to mention the lineman that’s at UTK now I don’t know how I forgot that!

If overall talent is the question. I’d either say 2019. Greenback with the 2 power five kids plus the QB that did sign with Louisville. Huntingdon had their QB sign for UT (for baseball but still is a heck of an athlete). The lake county team that won it all was stacked. Fayetteville was 10-0 but had to forfeit win but had a ton of talent on the team. South Pitt had Gio Davis I believe and he had multiple power 5 offers. 2018 can be in debate with it also from just a talent wise in 1A (This might be recency bias haha)

It doesn’t matter… the hallways in that school just scream “basketball”. I was in there the other day and they have a basketball rim above every trash can in the school.

ER barley beat a terrible H2O. The game will be a lot closer then what it looks. ER couldn’t win a playoff game with a legit 4 star athlete that is at Ole Miss now. I wouldn’t bet on them if it meant my uncle could come back to life.

I agree. The kids never quit when they could have easily laid down. They always found a way to respond. The swinging gate was good at first but they ran it too much. Play calling was good until it came down to it. The fake buck sweep bubble screen was Filthy.

Going for 2 was the right play, but they’ definitely should had ran it. #2 could have got them 3 yards

No doubt. This is the same kid that gets a unsportsmanlike penalty once a game and is always causing a problem. The kid already quit once…

It’s a little hard to tell. I think their schedules just didn’t line up. Last year Giles would have beat Marshall. But this year Marshall would beat Giles. The games would still be competitive no matter what
