  1. DivIIA - Going be a great playoff to watch this year, no clear cut favorite. MTCS playing well both sides of the ball. CA has been maturing a young group last few years appears they have grown up. FC seasoned playoff team . JCS got great talent but can they get over the hump? DCA always shows up in playoffs . NCS has elite QB Curtis maybe he can carry them. Defense going be difference this year. A lot of these teams are one dimensional so team who has a little balance on offense and a great D will win it.
  2. Congrats great win , didn't see game but looking at box score on Maxprep. Is it correct that you guys had 0 passing yards ?
  3. Booger any whispers up your way of the two Nashville 5 star QB's end up playing for Ted and the other Chattanooga boarding program next year?
  4. Seen several schools using it and Reitz is right good looking job done by bot.
  5. If LA did have kids that wanted to leave before year started they should have told them good luck , most time ends up being a cancer within locker room if they stay. A lot of programs had kids leave this year and next man up usually works out . Kids usually will unit behind it . Oakland lost one of its best players to BA and they appear to be playing very well. FCS same situation.
  6. I agree with Booger , I don't think any team in state would have done any better. The move up Div II AAA is best for program long term. Scheduling IMG your first game first high school job probably not great call. Baylor, McCallie and LA still best teams in Div II AAA. LA gets new QB settled I believe they get to Chattanooga. Like Booger stated had they remained AA they would run away with gold ball again. Like Coach Dilfer or not he elevated LA and TN football. I can't imagine the up roar over QB leaving had it been Coach Dilfer in charge.
  7. I don't see how BA with all the influx of talent is not winning. Offensively they should be able to score a lot of points every week . Is it coaching or over hyping transfer talent on roster? Is scheme way different kids not picking up assignments?
  8. I don't see how leaving helps him, already got the stars and offers from everyone. He will be Mr Football next 2 years win every award he wants at NC. He's coached by former SEC quarterback. He goes play up anywhere in state or out the possibility of injury increases drastically. In his league not many kids able to deliver shots to hurt a 215 pound quarterback. I realize injuries can happen at any level but higher you play more kids that can deliver bigger hits. Competition he needs will be in summer 7/7 camps. He will have plenty opportunity to play on the big stage in college so keep as much tread on the tires as you can now bc the hits in college will wear anyone down. I also would love to see this kid carry NC to Chattanooga two more times . It's a lot easier to go to a BA with them constantly brining in more talent to surround you but being the dude that carries your entire club is a future franchise QB. Good luck to this young man and the real $ is down the road.
  9. Can the talent overcome all the distractions LA has this week?
  10. I hope the kid has success playing no matter final destination, he was fun to watch and will be on a D1 roster very soon.
  11. I'd rather see Oakland vs LA at neutral site( Vanderbilt or Ingrams soccer stadium).
  12. Center Grove would not sign two way contract with Oakland. They are very senior heavy and Oakland has very deep junior class. Center Grove only wanted Oakland to travel and play in friendly environment. Oakland will be Oakland for rest of season.
  13. Streamed the Oakland game against CG , not just one call the volume of penalties. My question is how do you make other out of state officiating accountable? The game you mention Oakland-LA , TSSAA can address. My point is I love seeing the big national games for TN teams but how do you make crews accountable?
  14. I agree best three QB's in the state are 0-6, won't stay that way long.
  15. Agree , McGavock should have a dominant program based on school size but not so.
  16. Question with all these out of state games especially the one year deals , how do they keep officiating equal? I watched LA and thought it was not great. The national TV coverage helps keep things a little more transparent but no way states officials aren't leaning with national rankings on the line. Are the states _SSAA accountable to out of states team administration?
  17. Off the thread congrats to your PC, they very well prepared this season !
  18. Smaller schools with low numbers on the roster going struggle with the heat. Later kick makes sense.
  19. I thought earlier in the year possibly ESPN 2 ?
  20. The other is the transfer from Friendship Christian Brock Montgomery he has great hands and runs good routes.
  21. Did he get chance to play college ball? I felt he was hidden gym.
  22. Congrats to CPA on a big win. The marketing to play this game on Saturday was well thought out . Coach McIntyre grandson is going be special as predicted. I do wish CPA had moved up with Lipscomb to play the DIVII AAA, they obviously can compete at that level . The DIVII AA games will likely not challenge them like the AAA schedule would have this season . Good luck to both teams rest of year.
