Ha, Ha. You could be right but I beg to differ. Yes Mc beat the Mustangs by 3 tds and we lost by 3 tds. That's what has the Mc people so excited. That's exactly the way we need it to be. But you have the right to your own opinion. 3 peats are hard to come by which means 4 peats are harder. With that said, Peabody will defend its crown and win it's 5th title in 8 years.

Very slow Cornersville team. West Carrol could beat them. Would be a very competitive game. No disrespect but those teams are not on Mc, City or Peabody's level.

I watched that game. Upperman did not have a chance. No matter what they did, the refs would not allow them to win. I could be wrong but I saw what I saw

I do know that Cornersville has a good history. They were nemesis to the Huntingdon Mustangs in recent past. And they have a State Championship or 2. So no disrespect to this program. I just noticed how slow they are on both sides of the ball. Cant wait to see this Fayettville, McKenzie game. Instant Classic. Then next Peabody! But we got to take care of LC. That will be a challenge also but honestly, LC can not play with Trenton for 4 quarters. If they had more depth, they would be very dangerous

The Dresden game was the only game I have seen called at McKenzie that was somewhat equal. Although Dresden did get the bulk of the calls. I saw a lot of holding from the home team and the refs did too. We have our own version of the Barnett Kid. If yall dont block him, it will be a long night for the QB. I think Mc will try some of that Huntingdon stuff. Only the Mustangs can truly do the Mustang thing. We got to stop Taylor from getting outside. That is where he does the most damage. BUT HOLD UP WE COULD BE PLAYING FAYETTVILLE. THAT IS ANOTHER PROBLEM . IT WON'T BE EASY EITHER WAY!

i know Humboldt is improved and they gave LC a good game but if LC plays Peabody like they play Humboldt, it will be over quick. LC please bring your fans. Peabody please bring your fans. This is a big game for both programs. LC is capable but I just think their time is 2022.

Good post. I believe LC did what they should have done in the first game. They caught us off guard. We adjusted in the 2nd half. if truth be told Peabody took a knee in that game ant that was a show of class. We also threw a pic in the redzone. But that is part of football. That Huntingdon game was really a blessing for us. It took off a lot of pressure. It time to play ball now. No disrespect to LC, but if both teams bring their A game Peabody still wins by 4 tds. I believe this will be a running clock. LC has a bright future and they will victimize lots of teams and that may be Peabody next year, but this Friday it will be all Peabody.

You are right. McKenzie will be a tough out. People are starting to count us out after the Stang game. The game was closer than the score indicated. It was not one of our best games but Huntingdon had a lot to do with that. With that said, good luck the rest of the way.

This game is between 2 very good programs. Both were runners up to Peabody. I don't know what Marion has of late but I do know and have a lot of respect for Meigs. We Peabody folks sure do miss being in 2A. The banter is better because of the level of competition. But you guys will be introduced to Huntingdon and Martin Westview. I believe on of these guys will represent the West in 2A. They are two different types of teams but they are both very good at what they do. Huntingdon was unstoppable but they could not stop us either. We allowed them to have 3 more possessions and that is not a good thing to do against the Stangs. Westview is just dangerous. They, just like Huntingdon have powerful offenses. My pick is Meigs vs Westview or Huntingdon. Im sure we will be back in 2A very soon. Good luck Meigs and nice chatting with you Yeti.
