Definitely didn’t have 147 yds against Dyersburg. They had 19 total yds of offense in the 2nd half iirc. Dyersburg shut them down.

Did somebody say Primetime? Lol As previously mentioned, Howell is a stud! One of the slipperiest dudes I’ve ever seen on a west Tennessee field. He’ll score, but it’ll probably be on his own. He doesn’t have much help around him. Dang tough and relentless kid though! That being said, Westview 48-24 type score

I about jumped the fence onto the field Friday night if the refs let another illegal chop block on him go. He was PISSED. Hard to get him riled up, but he had had it!

How many yards did he have against Dyersburg? I’d say Dyersburg’s qb/safety, John Morris Trowbridge. He has around 50 tkls, 6 or 7 ints, and probably 25 or so rushing and passing TDs. He punts too. He has several punts over 50yds and many inside the 20. He does it all

He probably already has the oven going so he has plenty of hot takes ready for it!

So did Dyersburg play better in the secondary? Inquiring minds would like to know.

I wholeheartedly agree! He had more rushing yards and touchdowns against us (Dyersburg), than almost every team put together that we have played so far. He is a special talent and a very tough kid!

That’s crazy! I don’t remember a team that had a stat like that against 2nd and 3rd place teams in their region

Definitely Prince! I knew the Three Six/Project Pat had to be someone my age! I played ball with him and cut up with him after the game. He used to kill me in pursuit drills. I’d run first team D, then have to chase him all the way down the field. Never would slow up any and I was a step behind him.

Trolling the troll. I know it wasn’t you. That was a true story though. Whoever those coaches were, one of them did it 3 years in a row.

I know that when I coached 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, a coach from Martin would call the other coach every year and talk crap about how bad they were gonna beat us. It was 48-0 the last time I remember. What kind of dad/coach talks crap about a bunch of little kids? Had to have been you! Next year doesn’t matter in 2023. Trojans are coming, and bringing some ground and pound with them!

When have you not talked crap? Westview fans are always apologizing for your behavior! I’m not bashing Westview at all. They just don’t stack up against these Trojans when they play to their ability. I think 1st team D gave up maybe 3tds through the first 5 games. Dyersburg offense in their HEAVY package can bulldoze just about anyone. Also, this team of seniors beat the crap out of your 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teams when we played them. I know, because I coached them

2nd half against Covington, he came very close. I still believe 2 of the 3 best OL are only playing defense right now. If they’re on the OL, Stowe himself, can rush for 200 behind them!

If Dyersburg plays to win, instead of playing not to lose, Westview will be buying new doors by the truckload, because they’ll get blown off. Dyersburg played not to lose first half against Covington, 0-0. Lights out 2nd half, 24-0. I don’t remember if Covington even got a first down. If the coach makes the right personnel changes, y’all won’t stand a chance

I wouldn’t exactly call it a brain fart. I’ve watched/coached every scrimmage and game this group of seniors has played and there is a GREAT amount of frustration over a certain position that is unequivocally lacking. Kids that are much better are sitting on the bench. Opponents are seeing it on film. The biggest problem is the frustration with the players. They’ve had it! If those boys want to, I firmly believe they can win out and play in Chattanooga. The buck stops with the head man, and he’s not doing what needs to be done. We’re 6-0 and they still don’t know who our best 5 OL are. No way anyone should be able to stop us on the ground with the right group in there. Half of those boys are at my house every week. It’s sad when people that haven’t made a Dyersburg game yet, show up and figure it out right off the bat. BPM, ask them what they’re frustrated about! I hear it all week every week and it has nothing to do with me or my feelings. These are, and will always be MY BOYS! It’s not fair to them

There were several bad PI calls and Northside’s RT was moving before almost every snap. Northside came to play! They have size and speed. No way that team should’ve lost 9 games last year! They ran formations that Dyersburg had no film on and caught them off guard. I can’t get over some of this offensive play calling for Dyersburg. We march down the field, then go super conservative and get stopped. There’s a certain OL that had more tackles on our RBs than Northside did. If they don’t get that kid out, he’s gonna get our qb hurt. He doesn’t block anyone, EVER. He’s playing because of politics. We have half a dozen better OL. Swap a junior guard in there and we score almost every time. SSOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!

Primetime will be AWOL next Friday night. Dyersburg first team D hasn’t given up more than a TD to any team other than Lake County, and that’s only because the Mullins kid is a MAN and broke off two long ones. Westview won’t face a better DLine. I feel like Westview might eke out a win by 7 or less over Ripley
