Powell making it to the finals after losing all the 7 on 7 talent they had last year has to be a bit surprising. Good to see since they will depend on the run most of the year

I think being able to choose what school your kid goes to is a pretty good idea but most families don’t have that luxury.

He knew it was either getting blocked or he was getting hit. I’m sure most good punters are taught to go down when they are even touched

I think #6 will be key for a Powell victory. Offensively I’m not too worried but defensively if they can consistently make plays they have a chance.

Anybody see the fumble OR had on the 1 yard line? Could’ve sworn OR recovered then lost it in a wrestling match. Really exciting ending for a non OR/McMinn fan.

Still need to fix the problems with penalties. So many unsportsmanlike even though they are just standing looking down at the other teams player about every time.

Powell definitely looking like they want revenge. Trying to get another score on the board taking timeouts.

Powell up despite some bad drop passes and penalties. Nice to see #4 back out there think he forced a fumble on a kickoff.

Powell has some decent underclassman still. Looks like their freshman/Jv QB #2 who’s been playing varsity at WR/TE has a lot of potential. Not sure if there’s many freshman looking like him around. Haven’t heard of the Central kid.

Hope Powell has #4 and #6 back on defense. Didn’t see the last game since it wasn’t on DCM but I heard #6 Soles went out and had to get some stitches?

I figured Rhea county would be a lot better after seeing them vs Powell last year. Talented athletic QB Who played safety too i think. I’m guessing they lost some o-line and have had the injury bug.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a Clinton vs Lenoir City rematch. Really exciting/heartbreaking ending for Clinton.

Campbell County has a really good offense from what I saw against Powell. They like to throw it. Plus they come from a pretty tough region so they may look better than their record shows. Should be pretty good for a first round matchup possibly a high scoring shoot out.

I don’t think #4 Foust played in the last game so not sure if they were just resting him since he plays a lot on offense and defense and is a very physical player. I’ve seen him throwing up on the field almost every game this year. Will need him back to help out #6 Soles and the defense.

Im with you on that prediction. A lot of more deserving 5a teams than Ooltewah but that’s how it goes. As a Powell fan I don’t hope to see a West rematch in semi-finals but rebels look unstoppable at this point.
