Well I went the summer of '03, and I really enjoyed it, I loved how competitive the camp was.

I like your lineup StayNskool but I would take Hedjuk over Dunivant because of experience and sheer pace and ability to get forward. Also, I do believe that Germany did have their whole line-up in that friendly and while they aren't terribly strong they are amazing compared to our "B" squad. What are your real expectations for the US in the World Cup? Because if we don't win our group and we finish 2nd the tourney is over because we will play Brazil; I mean miracles can happen but I really doubt our boys can beat the Brazilians.

it was a good game, I am suprised with Martin's play recently. #23 for Madison did a good job marking Pifer. He took him out of the game, even so they are a lot better than I expected, and I think that they are better than USJ. I see Martin and Dyersburg playing in the district finals and region finals. Madison won't have any trouble with Haywood and Sheffield if they play like they did in the last 30 minutes of that game.

well I hope we take care of disricts and region so we dont have to see you guys in the sub-state..Since we have seen Westview and we know what we need to do to win, USJ is the only other team in our region that stands in our way..What is your assessment on them? On your end, you guys won't have a problem with beating Sheffield and it seems that the Haywood draw was just a fluke. Any kind of info on USJ would be appreciated.

well it knocked it out of the air to his feet, so yes it gave him an advantage.

well Sheffield is a two time state semi-final team the last two years and was close to beating CAK last year (just ask BigG), so they aren't terrible. Berry is a great player, he is going to play at Rhodes next year, I dont know I guess he averages 3 or 4 goals a game..Grueser averages about 2 goals a game. Now this is against A/AA west tenn. teams which are mostly bad. But I would definitely put Berry in the top 10 forwards in the state, and Grueser will be there in a couple of years.

if there is a faster forward combo in the state, I would be suprised...when these two get going any team should watch out ( i.e against Sheffield 8-0)

well it would make since that the westview player would say he didn't foul our player. I dont want to start making excuses why we lost. We played bad and that was it.

haha, well if we were in the finals and yall weren't, I wouldn't want to play either. Both teams seem to want to play, but each coach is kinda shying away from playing each other. Talk to your coach and I will talk to mine.

we nicknamed him the 40-year-old virgin...(looks a little like the actor)...I would agree he is by far the worst official on planet earth. Here is an example from the Martin-Dyersburg semi-final game: Ball hits the out-stretched (keyword) hand of a Martin defender in the box, side official raises his flag signaling a penalty. Sena looks at his judge and says, "yeah that was a hand ball but I'm not calling it"...if he calls the penalty Zac Berry takes his 2nd goal and we win 2-0.

I sure hope its on because we need to play someone good and get our heads right going into the districts...my coach told me that Coach Poteete didn't want to play us if we BOTHED played in the finals..I will talk to my coach again tommorrow and I will keep you posted...

I think westview is a good team, they are a lot like USJ..very organized and well-coached. When you play a very organized team, you have to score early and often, because they will get a goal or two in. Madison obviously has figured something out, because they have beaten them twice. I think that Westview is good, but they only play really good when they play d-burg (rivalry thing)..thats why I think madison takes this one.

I like Madison for this one...Westview doesn't seem to play good unless they are against us, and we don't seem to play bad unless its against Westview.

yeah, great job to westview tonight. Dyersburg played bad; we were spent after the Sheffield game, we got all sleepy just walking around the mall after the game, and that was it. Good luck to every team still in.

Madison will win but USJ will be hard to take in their own tourney, last year there was no reason for them to beat Sheffield but they did... but their offense is just not strong enough to score on the Mustangs. Dyersburg has to play Sheffield in the morning and we are more focused on them, however Dyersburg will handle westview pretty easily.

All of USJ's goals came off set pieces? I know they dont have much offense, but was your defense able to handle them pretty well?

Madison is a great team, and what some are forgetting about them is that they will only get better by the time sub-state rolls around because Michael Sitcha will be eligible to play. He is another scoring threat and should improve their attack. Who will they potentially play in the state quarters? I know they will be on Catholic's side of the bracket.

does that mean westview has 13 points now? If thats the case then I would guess they will finish with 23 points..should give them enough for 2nd place.
