Think Mcminn central and sweetwater will continue to get better the next few years. Know they played each other for middle school region Champs night before the high schools played. Central won the middle school game, but lost the high school game. New coach has become involved at the middle school level as well at central. Which I think is something area football needed for a long time. Back in my days we would field Englewood rams with like 35 or 40 boys then they folded Englewood and Etowah knights into the central middle school team

I think this could be a good game depending on which team shows up. But im gonna bias toward my cherokees and say they may win a close one 42-35.

Think Wartburg has an 11th game. But they are 2a.

I think Rebels win just based on the fact white county relies mostly on one player. Shut him down, then your likely to win. But shutting him down is that hard part. I still think Franklin County ends up going to the second round beating Sparta 35-21

It's at your stadium and you have the winning record most definetly would be an upset

After the 62-7 lose to Mo-town I don't think we'll see the barney's battle of the winless bowl between William Blount and Sequoyah. Sequoyah at least looked somewhat promising against oneida.

It may be close to madisonville but loudon is literally just 1 city away from Knoxville that region is much more fitting for loudon. Sequoyah is justified bc they are only one county from state line so them being in the Chattanooga region makes more sense.

I to have heard they were gonna look at Meigs numbers again. That they could possible stay in 2a after the revaluation. I think Meigs will definetly compete in 3a, but if Alcoa is still 3a you can kiss the chances of going to championship goodbye for the next 4 years. Not being harsh, but them alcoee boys are something else.

After centrals last showing against loudon it kinda has me nervous about this game tommorow. I think if central comes out to play like they had every game before they got blew out by loudon. I think catholic might surprise them it's hard to gaige their strength since they're D2. But I think it'll be a close game with catholic coming out on top 31-28

I mean everyone's goal is to go to the championship but mcminn just joined 5a in 2021 the last time they realigned schools like everyone in 6a at the time noone was getting through Maryville, and even if you did you still had Oakland. Last year we win 8-4, lost second round of playoffs. We got a "covid" loss to dobyn Bennetts in second round finishing 11-1 losing to Maryville earlier in regular season 21-2 for 2020. 2019 we finished 9-2 and got upset by Bearden after being them in regular season. 2018 was a rebuild going 4-6 same for 2017. 2016 7-4 lost to state champions Farragut in first round something like 40-22. 2015 they went 5-6 and played a bowl game against David Crockett and won 42-32. 2014 was the 2nd worst year in recent history went 3-7 2013 4-6 with several close losses somehow didn't make 6a playoffs they beat bradley and walker valley yet they still made it, I didn't really understand how that old playoff format worked.2012 they went 10-2 losing to Riverdale in 2nd round. 2011 they went 8-3 losing to oak ridge 1st round. 2010 was the worst year in recent history they went 2-8 only beat Mcminn Central and Walker valley. 2000s were pretty kind to them besides 2004 or 5 when they didn't make playoffs and went like 4-6/5-5.

Exactly I know we have a long tradition between both of our Schools. And I'll root for rhea County anytime they aren't playing my own team. Good luck to the boys of Dayton and spring city, I think you guys could possibly upset oak ridge depending on how the adjustment has gone. Rhea countys schedule was brutal though especially for a year of rebuild. We swapped Miller to Rb along with Evans& Thompson and Hester the junior has taken the quarterback position.

Exactly. I felt like that was a backhanded compliment to Rhea and a straight up insult to mcminn county.

People just act like mcminn countys trash. We have a proven football tradition. Mcminn and Rhea have almost always gone back in forth since they started playing. We had a bad spell in early 80s, and 2010,2014,2015 and think 2017 Other than that we've almost always been over .500

Hopefully the cherokees have a little pay back in line for loudon pickin on our little brother central. We are the only ones allowed to shut them out. How does loudon compare to sweetwater?

I think mcminn has a chance at making to the third round this year. Think they could beat oak ridge again, I think Powell would be a good game, I think we could beat karns and Campbell County as well.

This is an excited game even for me as an outsider. Depending on where the game is played, if it's home at lenior city. I may have to go watch to see these two improved teams. My team will playing right across the river from lenior city anyways against loudon. But think this game will be more interesting to watch.
