I know you are. The question you asked seemed a bit argumentative. Not that you meant it that way. I just expressed a bit of frustration, just like every other fan when their team falls short every year.

You are correct and I don't hate it because we have been very successful running the same offense for 100 yrs, but when you do meet that defense that can stop it, there has to be an adjustment made somewhere to gain back the momentum.

Choking/ not living up to expectations, call it whatever you want, but I know we've had the players to make more than 1 trip to state in the last 18 yrs regardless of who we played. To me, it's more so about being out coached. It seems like we don't make the right adjustments when they do.

I believe that is why our run game was/is so successful was because no one could find the ball and then when you did, it was too late. Just didn't see that in the game against yall. Hunter definitely, but there were others. I'm not asking to change to a fully passing offense, but if you have someone that can throw the ball, exploit it. I do remember last yr against UC, we did a few fake misdirection hand-offs and passed pretty well off of those.

It was not fun to watch. Probably why most of the Huntingdon fans were leaving at the end of the 3rd/start of the 4th quarter. I know they'll get it figured out, but region play starts next week and we can not play like this again. Region is too tough to play like this. I'm going to have to go with McKenzie in this one. If Dresden barely beat an "inexperienced" Westview, I don't see them beating McKenzie. 21-7 Mck. Is that it or is Swenson just scared to switch things up and possibly have a losing season? I don't doubt that our guys have the talent, but you have to develop certain areas in skills positions and I think they just don't want to do that. I can't remember about last year, but we used to be all about misdirection's. I mean there were a few times I didn't know who had the ball. Again, I may not have been paying attention very well, but just seems our offense vs. McKenzie was lazy. Not the players, but more so the play calls and designs. Just wasn't exciting to watch like it normally is.

I do love a hard-nose running offense, however running basically the same run play is getting old, even if it successful most of the time. Maybe I haven't been paying much attention, but have they done away with the misdirection's? Also, why is it that the QB runs to the sideline to get the call after each play? When I was in school, they would have someone ready on the sideline to run in and give the play. Is it that they aren't confident in the players ability to give the right call in the huddle or do we not have enough depth at a certain position to swap out every play? Rivers does not look ready to be out on the field. He was favoring that knee all night. Didn't look like he wanted to do too much. Hopefully its just a mental thing and he can get that straight, but to me it looks like he is done at RB unfortunately and I feel bad for the young man because he would have been a good one in the back field. I hope I'm wrong.

This is the most undisciplined team I've seen in many yrs. If they don't fix that, we'll be sitting at home come playoff time.

I would like to think Riverside could keep it competitive, but I don't think this will be a close game at all. I could be wrong tho and have been many times. They have atleast 4 D1 players. QB commit to Mizzou, Ot to Duke, CB to Austin Peay, and TE to Liberty University. That QB is a dual threat and looks pretty good. Better get that secondary ready if they want to slow them down.
