South Fulton High School has 186 students. Halls has 342. Then, next week you get Gleason with 166. By the way, Greenfield has 181. Lake County 204. Halls is one of the larger schools in 1A.

This "Tide" guy really has a problem with the Huntingdon HC. My guess is that he is a HC and has had his teeth kicked in a few times by the stangs.

The TSSAA goes by the student population. Union City is 356. Halls is 342. So, tighten them pampers back up cause they're not getting changed. Next week Halls has Gleason. Gleason High School has 122 students.

If a coach has a football team that will take no action when one of their players has his helmet intentionally ripped off his head during a play then that coach has a football team that is going to go 0-10. When an AD and Principal hire a head football coach, and he has a son that plays football and is in high school, then that kid is going to play over another kid, whatever position they play. You have to be ready to accept that before you make the hire.

It's difficult for a teacher to switch schools midway through a semester Einstein. He will leave at the end of this semester most likely. Most opportunities arrive at the end of the school year though so it might be then.

What 1A teams has McKenzie played this year that has a deeper bench? How many 1A teams has McKenzie played this year that has a smaller bench? I'm all ears.

Riverside being at home, probably Riverside wins. If it was at TCA then I'd say TCA wins. The improvement in TCA this year is incredible.

Middle College is undefeated and unchallenged. ECS has a great tradition of winning. Looking at this season's scores so far it looks like a 2-8 year at best to me. What the heck is going on there?

Dang you are right on. 25 years is a long time. The players that last played when Halls was not a favorite homecoming game for everyone on their schedule might be having grand kids by now. Losing has come to be expected, accepted. Losing by a lot...same way. I've been told the problem is school board members with players on the team being what some call passive aggressive in controlling decisions of coaches. They hire coaches that can be bullied. If the Dresden coach had begun as the head coach at Halls 2 years ago and any of the past several head coaches at Halls had taken over Dresden 2 years ago then Halls would have won 62-0. Obviously, the Dresden coach does what he thinks is best, does not tolerate interference from the outside no matter who they thing they are and understands things like off season conditioning, staying on blocks, etc. knowing how to block, offensive plays that compliment each other, studying tape and seeing the biggest weaknesses of the next opponent, which player should be at what position, not settling for half azz effort at practice, let who would quit, quit. But all of that is called W. O. R. K.

Right. Due to some confusion. Historically, however, your place was called "Knox Halls". It's been only in the past 10 years or so.

When players do not know what to do on many plays and there is an overall lackadaisical effort on most plays then one has to assume that there will be no change the rest of this year, next year or the year after that. There's no demographical difference in the overall student population than most any other small town in west TN. Take Lake County, for example. The excuses you give have not changed in 25 years. Take Dresden for example. A few years ago they couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag but have won a state championship since then. There is more to it than meets the eye (or your excuses) when this goes on for 25 years.

The Falcons travel to Halls Friday night. A real nail biter coming.
