Hey lets not generalize radio people in Tennessee!! There is such thing as fair radio coverage, and as a matter of fact it takes place in crossville Tennessee with the coverage of Jet and Lady Jet basketball! Nobody gets all of the credit on this broadcast there is a sponsored "Player of the Game" but everybodys accomplishments are mentioned!!

With Jenniffer Hood in this ballgame the Lady Cherokees get romped!! The only reason McMinn was able to get such a large lead in this game was due to their uncharacteristically good three point shooting in third quater!! The Lady Jet defense stepped up in the fourth and finished the Job, and with Hood in the ball game the cherokees never see the lead!!! And oh one more thing, I don't know what the McMinn people think about their head coach, but I tink the way he acted after the last shot of the game was absolutely unexcusable!! What kind of example is he setting for the kids??

You guys can say what you wish, but the Lady Jets are the real deal!!! The Blue and Gold was thought to be in the tank when Jennifer Hood went down before the Karns game. However, the Lady Jets continued to impress beating the Beaverettes by a sizeable margin. Everybody wants to give the Lady Cherokees the edge due to thier inside game, but the Lady Jets will win this contest from the perimeter. Big night shooting the basketball tonight for the home team---Mark My Words!!!

My question is does Cleveland have neone in the back court who can keep up with Butler. From what I hear she's all-district material!! Cleveland really only has 1 guard with experience to speak of!!! Is WV a tough place to play what's the atmosphere like for a girls contest there??

Congratulations voltn you've been nominated for the "Homer of the Year Award"!!! Listen dude, If you were watchin the same game I was watchin you know the Lady Jets played poorly. Their shooting percentages were down and the turnovers were high, and if you knew nething about Lady jet b-ball you'd understand what a big deal it is 4 hood to sit on the bench!! Jenn's all the Lady Jets have on the inside. When these 2 teams meet again in CC I guaruantee a double digit victory from the home team.

BC not that good. The Lady Jets had a lot of turnovers and Jenniffer Hood sat out most of the game due to foul trouble. Thus, the Lady Jets who led this ball game by as many as 13 points underachieved in beating a sub-par BC team by 6!!!!

Like I said the Lady Jets beat BC with Hood on the bench for most of the game, and with what I would call a sub-par effort!!

Ive seen the Warriorettes play several times and I think it's going to take better play in the back court for them to get back on the winning track!1 McFadden is special on the inside, but she's easily shut down by some tough zone D, Teams dare Sparta to shoot the 3 ball and they can't cash in from the perimeter! Defensively The wariorrettes are unableto effectively run a zone defense at least thats the way its seems against theLady jets!!

The Lady Jets clearly the best team in the district (right now). They played some sloppy basketball last night and won the game with Jennifer on the bench for modt of the night due to foul trouble. If the Lady jets bring their A game they win this one by 10+!!!

Listen I hate to talk smack, but as only a mere fan im aloud to do so. I've looked at the brakets, and though it is a bit lofty to say so. I see the Lady Jets winning this tourney goin away!!!

Yes they are that's before christmas and the week after they are headin for scottsville and the Lady Invitational!!

Coach Rogers is big stuff playing 1a basketball night in and night out, but how would mr. hotshot do if he played a AAA schedule including more than 1 or 2 tough games all season??!! The Lady Buffaloes haven't killed any giants if you ask me. Sure, they got a win against what is usually a good white county team, but WC isn't their usual self this season they've got one GREAT player in the McFadden down low, but other than that there not anything to write home about. We'll all see just how good the Lady Warriors are as they take on the Lady jets next Tuesday night! GO BIG BLUE!!

pretty smart pic there oneshot the Lady Jets began there season by losing an early HOF contest against Lincoln County, that was the wake up call that the Lady Jets have answered. The Blue and Gold now stands at 3-0 in regular season play with wins against upper eschelon teams like Cookeville and Powell along with a blow out victory against Meigs county (40 point victory!!). The Lady Jets are on a roll and definitely what I would top tier in Tennessee!!

Ive got to add the Lady Jets into this fray with Freshmen Center/Forward Destiny Dishman. Destiny has unintentionally gotten some serious playing time early in the season due to the foul troubles Lady Jet and TTU signee Jennifer Hood has been experiencing (I think the refs are out to get 53). However, Destiny has shined for the Lady Jets expescially on the boards. Destiny Dishman a great rebounder and defender belongs on the list of the sates top freshmen!!

Im going to partially agree with this individual who is obviously not very familaiar with coach Smith's program. The Lady Jets have had a prolem with turning the ball over early on in this season, but that TO problem was corrected in the 2nd half of the cookeville game in which the Lady Jets only had 5 turnovers!!! And Im in complete disagreement with the hearsay about parents questioning the Lady Jet coaching staff about playing time. As of now the Lady Jets are improving and starting to play more as a team. I look 4 a couple of blowouts in the Thanksgiving Classic!

The Lady Jets Beat Heritage with speed and stamina!! Heritage doesn't have the depth to run with the girls from C-ville

Oakland Grad ya may be the only one willing to give the Lady Jets their Due Credit, but about midway throuh the season there will be no choice for the doubters but to start believing. The Lady Jets have also got a couple additions from the already great 04-05 squad. Yes, I'm goin to go ahead and say it the Lady Jets are the most loaded backcourt in the state!!! There will be guards on the Lady Jet Bench that could start anywhere else in the state!!
