  1. yea thats wrong because mcminn lost to farragut and the tiebreaker goes to farragut due to head to head result
  2. maybe temple should get some money for you using their logo
  3. govman you're 100% correct. we have our share of people at farragut too. but about the game, i'm excited for our win but i hate to see any team lose like WB did. they just lost their focus. on the final pass play of regulation, the Gov LB just unloaded on sterling while the ball was still 10 yards in front of him. i dont know why you do that other than a lack of focus. i hope this will ignite the admirals again and i hope the govs can recover to finish the season strong and make the playoffs. good luck next week against the cats.
  4. dont get this 4A and 5A crap started again (im sick of hearing about that) im a fan of 5A football and always have been but maryville is undoubtedly the BEST FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE STATE all classifications included
  5. farragut is building a little momentum now and mcminn is facing a big challenge the next few weeks. their play against FHS and OR will make or break their season. i wish them luck but i think the admirals are too much in this one at home. FARR 31 McMinn 14
  6. i guess andre could do it by himself. we only relied on him so heavily bc he was getting five or more yards everytime he touched it. farragut's D held bearden's O in check for most of the night and the O was just breaking bearden's spirit in the 4th qtr. great game for the admirals!
  7. why does ooltewah always bring up our record vs. OR when they cant even beat us. avg score in 2005 34-12 FARR. now thats a burn.
  8. the last two years i played at farragut and heritage played us tough each year. they seem to every year. but from what ive heard from the players, they are pretty upset about their performance last week and are ready to play this friday to get that bad taste out of there mouth. it will be a tough ballgame but i take farragut by 14.
  9. no they didnt come back out. i agree with u, i think AC benefited from having a short field the entire time. i would like to have seen if farragut could have adjusted but each team only got 3 possessions i think before the storm came.
  10. according to the murphy fair book he had 1171 yards, 16 TDs on 164 carries. his highlight performance was a 275 yard, 5 TD game vs. soddy daisy
  11. definitely...i saw him make a sick one-handed catch for a touchdown v. central last year. REBELRON ur right about clendenen he made an incredible INT return in the jamboree for webb two years ago as a freshman. plus the first time he touched the ball in a varsity game he took the opening kickoff for a TD against powell. both to watch out for in 2006 and 2007
  12. 1. maryville 2. halls 3. powell 4. central 5. west 6. clinton 7. south doyle 8. lenoir city
  13. just what r u talking about '87 FHS 19 CENT 14 W '88 FHS 14 CENT 27 L '88 FHS 32 CENT 14 W '89 FHS 17 CENT 15 W '89 FHS 34 CENT 28 W '90 FHS 0 CENT 48 L '91 FHS 31 CENT 34 L '92 FHS 22 CENT 21 W '93 FHS 58 CENT 28 W '94 FHS 46 CENT 20 W '97 FHS 26 CENT 6 W '98 FHS 15 CENT 29 L '05 FHS 10 CENT 21 L maybe u should stick to something u know
  14. i said that bc right now reg. 1 has 7 teams and reg. 2 has 8 assuming that no one would drop in classification. it's just a matter of filling space. but thats still two years away so no need to add fuel to this fire
  15. get over it. that was two years ago.
  16. if maryville did move to 1-5a they still may not meet with OR because they have an unwritten law to play the other blount county teams out of conference. we may never see it
  17. congrats to eric. furman had one of the top offenses in D1-AA last year and he should fit in well there. eric is a great player and guy. i enjoyed playing against him this past year bc he's a classy guy on the field.
  18. i think so... there will be some good young players stepping up to lead their teams. i know that OR, ooltewah, farragut, WB, SD lost some key players from last year. it will be a different looking region
  19. i think this region will be wide open next year with the loss of the seniors on every team. but since im closer to farragut i'll tell u bout us. we should be about the same on offense. we lose just two starting OL and our backfield returns with sterling and micah devan at FB. michael lawrence looks to be promising at QB and he has some experience. in the 1st bearden game, tyler powell was sick and lawrence got his only start and threw for 180 yards and 2 td. we lose five senior WR but we have some good juniors to be that will step up. senior chris eggert is as sure handed as they come. our loss will be on defense. we lose nine starters but one good thing is that we had some reserves get good experience last year. devan and ty cannon at LB with shane reveiz returning. zach allen should be a good SS that got the most experience last year after brian tipton got hurt. brandon hylton and jarrod pitt each got to start last year early at corner. adam wigren returns at NG with a promising DE in jeff jameson. i look for us to compete with the top 2 spots in the region again and making a run in the playoffs. i know ooltewah has some good talent returning that will mostly be juniors and oak ridge always has players. should be an interesting region next year
  20. i heard they were moving the maryville v. central game back so that they could play each other for the state.
  21. oak ridge is a great football team and i believe that they can put last week's game behind them and win a region championship this week. OR 21 FHS 14
  22. ON PREPXTRA IT HAS THEM AT 4 PROBABLY BC THEY'RE OVERALL RECORD IS NOT AS GOOD. JUST GOIN BY WHAT I WAS READING.
