They do have a couple of cupcakes that I dont agree with but also have 5A Dyer County and Munford along with the Dynasty of Peabody.

This game will be decided by defense. DC has a good running and passing game. Dyersburg is a 6 headed monster on offense.

How did the Milan Dyersburg scrimmage go. I did not make it.

Y’all have done a good job of summing up this game. Dyersburg can score but defense is very young. Sophomore heavy.

Dyersburg is as good as ever on offense. Defense is really young. Only six seniors on the team. Only one player but they are really missing Darius Harrison on defense Big time recruit who is missing his second season after a catastrophic knee injury. He hopes to be back for his senior season. Time will tell.

By those numbers Dyersburg Milan Haywood and Covington will be in same 3A region. Covington will be close to 3A/4A cutoff line. Talk about a loaded region.

I am not aware of any player being positive. I am told the players were exposed to someone who was exposed. These rules are silly. Dyersburg has been going to school in person all year. The first couple of weeks they only did like 3 days a week.

I don’t know about Covington numbers but Dyersburg will be moving down for sure in reclassification. Maybe you’ll get to hear the thunder in the near future.

Dyersburg is very young on defense. Only 1 senior 75% of the time. Only 6 seniors on the team. Offense is very good. The next two years they should be loaded. I expect a good game but we will have to out score them.

For the love of God please take Stowe. We will even throw in a bad defensive coordinator.

Haywood did everything to lose ??? Dyersburg has 20 penalties and 5 turnovers including one at the six inch line going in to tie it up. Both teams are young and we will see you again......

Dyersburg will show up but imo they were way overrated. They are a year away. Playing multiple sophomores and losing middle linebacker and fullback was a massive blow. My heart hurts for #42. He was a beast and his career might be over.

Hard to replace Russell but Dyersburg going to give it a good try with preseason all state sophomore. 6’1 and 250 lbs. He broke every record on the books in middle school and is still growing. He is a beast.

Like I said if Haywood shows up it will not be close.

Haywood is peaking at the right time and “IF” the team that played Dyersburg last week shows up this week it will not be close. The question is can they keep the same focus or will there be a let down. With it being semis and after last year I doubt it. Haywood is senior heavy .

I doubt there is gonna be much smack talk. Everyone knows this is gonna be a good one. Anything can happen in HS football but imo the winner of this one goes to Cookeville.

Dyersburg is fine at running back. The “stud” is not hurt. He usually only carries the ball 5 or 6 times a game because we still have 3 RBs other than him. He is starting LB and leader on defense. The two that we have lost to injuries have left us thin at LB.

I’ll be interested to see how this one turns out. Dyersburg played Northside but I have not seen MC.

Dyersburg has a freshman that could be one of if not the top recruits on this end of the state. Darius Harris 6’1 and 235 lbs. He is the real deal.

It’s evident they have been butt hurt by Dyersburg somewhere along the line. This schedule was made 2 years ago and contains teams who made semifinals last year in 4A and 5A. You can only beat who is put in front of you.
