With Lavergne coming off a close loss to Smyrna, they should be craving a chance to play again, and this time its against the cougars of Centennial. This is the opening game for Centennial and there are many questions about the offense with the departure of many seniors.
What does everyone else think? Predictions?
The difference is that Riverdale is by far the best team in their region, where in Region 6-5A there are 3 or 4 teams each year that have a chance to win the region.
Brentwood wins by 10 an scores the touchdown late.
Like fromthetop said, Brentwood always starts off a bit wobbly. However, they're defense is used to stopping the run (Centennial, Dickson Co. are both in their region), so they will pull it out in week 0.
I love coming here throughout the years because this question must have been asked at least 5 times to my knowledge.....
Little teams do not have depth. Big teams do. Thank you.
Well then you'd have to make a Wil. Co team. Take the best from Brentwood, Franklin, Ravenwood, Centennial, Fairview, Page and the young Independence. Rutherford County vs. Williamson County..............I'll buy that for a dollar.
We from Centennial will be keeping a close eye on this game since we open with Lavergne in week 1. I'm interested to know how they've improved from their 1-9 season last year. Can anyone give me some credible info on their offense, defense, special teams, etc.?
Ever heard of T.C. Jennings? How about Ravenwood? I'm a Centennial high graduate and watching the 6-5A teams this year is obvious that where Brentwood and Franklin are, Ravenwood is right beside them.
I haven't heard much about how they should be this year. Does anyone have some information? How does everyone think they will compare to the rest of Wil. Co. as well as Region 6-5A?
