I can't believe noone from Macon is posting. Have all the fans left on Fall Break? I heard the band won't even be in attendance at the game this Friday night. All they need is afew tumbleweeds to blow across the field and someone to play "Taps" over the P.A. System. I'll bet that Mark Darnell and Tim Case could come up with something humorous.

Nay- Yellow Jackets and Owls don't gee-haw. Can Owls defend the Wing-T?

Both the Owls and the Eagles are predatory birds. However, Westmoreland is hard to beat @ home. Smith Co. is in a must win situation- considering post-season play. I gotta go with them "ruff and tumble" boys from upper Sumner Co. Anybody but the OWLS!

You don't need a crystal ball to predict ther outcome of this one...MCHS will not win another game this season . Unless they find a Football Genie to grant them 3 wishes.... Sycamore, Greenbrier, and Dekalb Co. The truth is not always pretty.

I love the Vols, but I'd bet Georgia will roll....and Station Camp, Trousdale Co., and FCA. IMO!

How can MCHS 's football future look more dismal than it already does? Hellooooo! Who scheduled Station Camp for Homecoming?

Hey 'Twan, I can't believe we agree on something! Well, one thing about tonight, TCHS won't lose or win! I'll bet some of their faithful fans may come to the River City.

I think MCHS should save gas and forefit the game. It will be a long drive back home on Hwy 25 watching those blinking lights of the old TVA nuclear plant. I just don't see the Tigers winning a game the rest of the year.

Smith Co. has some big ole boys and their numbers look intimidating standing on the sidelines. MCHS will have to defend the line and stop up the holes. I've watched MCHS & SCHS on during seperate games. Owls have some strong players, but can be beat. I can tell you the MCHS crew plays lazily and seems afraid to "take a hit". Tough' n up boys! Its takes teamwork, not just one or two players being the workhorses while you stand back and watch. Yes, it's easy for me to say this from the stands, but the truth is the truth, IMO.

Lafayette usually beats themselves. When you get anywhere near the endzone (anywhere inside the 15 yd. line), they choke. Bobbled passes, fumbles, lots of misdirection. I believe the intimidation of it just being Smith County will be enough to defeat MCHS. If the Owls say, "Boo"' they're shook. Love to see a well-played and well-officiated game in the Hole. By the way, is parking any better over there?

Another sad season for the Tigers....fumbles, bobbled catches, lack-luster play, hmm......what else? The Tigers met up with a buzz saw called White House. A loss is a loss whether its 1 pt. or 100 pts.

The Tigers better hope the White House bus runs out of gas on Hwy 52, cause thats the only way they'll be able to escape defeat. The score will be as bad as the Blue Devils want it to be. Sorry guys, I'm a realist..........

If you know anything about the RBS history, they are totally against consolidating with anyone, much less Macon County High. Its a different land, people, and attitude once you drive through Drapers Cross Roads. They have a rich history in basketball and established opinions about how things should be. Don't know what the future holds for them. ????????????

The Jackets are a tough & scrappy team. You'll burn more gas going up Monterey mountain than coming back down. Have a safe trip---Jackets #1 in my book.

By the time ya'll get home, gas will be $5.00 a gallon. That's a shame.....both the price of gas and the lose to Hixson. Macon needs more consistent ball playing. Offensive can't do it all, how did the defense look?
