  1. Wonder if this person went to school in Macon Co.? Hmm......???? I wonder if they meant the proceeds form the Jamboree would help the Boosters instead of "parents"?? Now days, any extra curricula activity costs the parents $$$$.
  2. Poor timing-both schools could have benefitted from the gates if they'd scheduled them for different times. Oh well, Guess I just enjoy my Russell's popcorn! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  3. How's it going Zone? TCHS won a scrimmage the other day against Sparta. What bout S. Pitt?
  4. Can't wait for the match-up. Anyone coming to the Jam on the Creekbank 8/16?
  5. Tigers will have to look better than they did the other night during the scrimmage. Was the heat? Or the hot air coming from their bursted egos? I believe TCHS won their scrimmage- Get it together boys. I want to see a decent game, not a massacre. The proof will be in the final score. Please make it worth the gas and the price of admission of driving to Lafayette.
  6. There 's a long history of football between MCHS & TCHS. The Ridgerunners and River Rats go back for generations, however there is something bout that "Creekbank" magic that puts a spell over the Tigers. TCHS has always managed to have some quickness, not much size, but some players that are quick as a cat. Hindsight shows that MCHS can not keep up with a well conditioned team. I have watched them played for more years than I"d like to say and they usually lose their steam come 3rd quarter. I haven't seen the Big Blue this season, but I am very anxious to see what they've got. I will be there, Lord willing and Goose Creek doesn't rise. Is it on the Creekbank or on the Ridge?????
  7. I was told by a Jacket fan that you guys could repeat. I am going to keep up with ya'll throughout the fall. I enjoy High School football and enjoy reliving my glory days. Keep in touch.
  8. Hope you guys have a successful season! Heard you guys scrimmaged TC and showed 'em up. Who knows? You could repeat!!!
  9. New guy...new old guy. Has Satterfield washed his hands of the sport? Will echoes of the Satterfield legacy still be heard on the "Creekbank"?
  10. Alright Tiger Fans, what bout Macon County? When and Where?
  11. With current budgets, buses will be tight. I predict booster clubs and parents will pick up the tab for travel. Don't forget the band. What's a Friday night game without the band?????
  12. Hey Antwan: If you see any of my kinfolks from Fentress Co., tell 'em "Goober says Hey!" Ya'll might just pull one off, but I fgure next week will get ya! Good Luck!
  13. Hey Zone: Watch out for the Green and Gold- I figure ya'll will teach them a thing or two. Wish the Jackets were there, but as McArthur said "I shall return." I know they'll be back! GOOD LUCK from rockytoptn1!
  14. Go Red Chickens! Show 'em how we play ball here on the Ridge!
  15. Hey Zone: Sorry I won't be able to attend, but best of luck to both teams! Lookout for a van filled with crazed purple and gold fans to arrive shortly. I have friends and family on their way at this very moment. I know it's a long shot for TCHS to win, but I gotta root for the local boys. You'll have to admit there is a long, healthy history between these schools. Watch for Clint to pull some plays from the family archives!
  16. How many players does SP have on the roster I just looked on the CoachT schools site and it only showed about 18. I know SP has always had a pretty fair amount of players in the past. The CoachT roster showed about 4 kids named robinson are they all kin folk.I think I remember hearing a couple of them are brothers.TC has their usual # about 25 or so.
  17. Okay, boys and girls-football is first, food is second. Any good eats in S. Pitt?
  18. Somebody's done their homework. You get a star on your chart. Looking forward to a good game. Is TCHS taking a bus to S. Pitt?
  19. It wouldn't have matter whether or not ANY officating was on the field, Macon beat themselves with 6 turnovers.
  20. Hind sight is 20/20- I'll bet the Tigers are wishing they had a time machine they could go back an redo some crucial plays. This is it boys! It's up to you on how the season will end. What's it gonna be?
  21. Won't this depend on what G'ville and Watertown do next week? What's the scenario?
  22. What an upset! Way to go Big Blue! Guess you heard 'bout the Defeat on the Creekbank.
