Smith County Seniors you are the GREATEST. I will forever remember you for your class and hardwork. You are all truly friends to the end and you showed it to me on Friday night. I love all of you. I feel my life has been touched just by knowing all of you. Remember all the good times. Smith County Coaches , what can I say about such a fine group of men. I feel truly blessed that my son has played for you the past 4 years. You have shown them what it is like to become young men. All your hard work and time spent with these boys will be forever remembered in each of their lives. I as a parent am very thankful that they have had men like all of you to look up to and repect. Smith County cheerleaders what a fine group pf young ladies. Your SPIRIT and love your school and team is what all fans should reach for and bring to each game. Thanks for your support for the team I know they think of you all as sisters and we love all of you. To my son thanks for the memories. I love you more than words can say. You have become a fine young man and have shown me what it is like to have the heart of a champion these last few weeks. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS.

With Friday night being Senior Night I want to say a few words to all of the seniors of the Smith County Football team: You are all a fine group of young men. I have watched you all grow and mature into wonderful young men both on and off the field. Your love and respect for each other is what will make this world a better place. Thank you for the memories of fine football games and just the memories of you being you. I love and appreciate all that you have done and mean to Smith County High School and for Smith County as a community. You all deserve to be honored Friday night and I hope the community will show up to show you how much you are appreciated. I wish nothing but the best for each of you and will always pray that life will always give you what you need and want. Stay strong and play hard. You deserve so much. I have to give a great big THANK YOU to Tyler Trusty from Smith County. Great kid and is always working and trying to help the team no matter what is ask of him. Great job Tyler!!!! GO OWLS!!!! YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!!!

Glover you are absolutely right. My son and I were talking last night and he said that he can tell where the true fans are coming from in the stands. He said that there are a few fans that sit on the field house side of the bleachers, a few in the middle and of course myself and another parent and the student body on the other end of the bleachers. He wants the fans to make some noise. They really do appreciate it greatly and it means so much to them to know that people are supporting the team. We do need to get behind the team. I leave the game with a sore throat each week and it takes me all day on Saturday to recover. Come on fans get off your behinds and CHEER for the OWLS. GO OWLS!!!! I LOVE EACH OF YOU!!!!

I have a little poem for all the G-ville Fans I used to be a Tiger My mood was often "FOWL", From Losing to Smith County So now I am an OWL!!!!!!! Great game Smith County. To all the Seniors Way to go. All four years of your high school career you have beaten the Tigers. I am proud of all of you. Keep up the good work and keep improving every week.

We know a young man that attends Station Camp and he told us that he was not going to drive all the way to Trousdale County and watch because Station Camp was not very good.

You are so right Queenie. I was at the picnic and I tried to find the coach after to thank him and all his assistants for being the kind of men that I am proud to to have to coach my son. My son is also a senior and I too am thankful for the senior class. They are all a wonderful group and are always a team the has great respect for their teammates and fans. I am looking forward to the season with bittersweet feelings. I am proud of my son and his hardwork as well as all the other members of the team. To the OWLS - "FIGHT TOGETHER WIN TOGETHER"!!!

I know it is all in fun and believe me I do not waste a lot of time taking things seriously. I was just showing my support for the boys of Smith County. You must agree with me some because even you said "Most Everybody on here" So obviously you have some doubts yourself.

The boys of Smith County fought hard. They knew going into the Catholic game that it would be a tough one. As everyone knows we have a lot of players with not a lot of game experience. I was very proud of each and everyone of the players. My son and his teammates walked off the field with a lot of dignity. Some posters on this site should have just a fraction of the dignity that the Smith County players have. They will prepare they will be ready.

You are right that you can not replace players just reload. Many of the boys on this team have been giving 110% in the off season. They are working hard and will be ready come kick off time. I wish the OWLS much success this season. May God bless and keep them from injury. GO OWLS.
