The road situation is less than adequate for a school the size of West Ridge. There is more paved parking this year on campus. I got into the campus easily and out easily this past week however there will be more people this week with Boone. Yes the wolf is back and led the team out vs. Volunteer. I think it's a special place to watch a game with the Wolf, Mini-jumbotron and the special affect lights. They do a great job there at West Ridge, hope you all have a safe trip over and go home unhappy.

The Indians win this one easily.

That Boone defense is exactly the reason my head says blazers. 4 fumbles against Volunteer and I think 10 yellow flags for 79 yards. Cannot do that and have a chance against Boone.

After a 2 yr hiatus due to Covid, the "backyard brawl" returns. Who you got? Heart says Wolves, head says Blazers.

Actually had 2 tds called back and fumbled twice inside the 20. No offense to Volunteer but I don't think they will have many wins this season. West Ridge with LOTS of mistakes. They better tighten those up quickly before your blazers come calling.

Well here we are, 9 days out from the start of the season and I have absolutely no clue about the Wolves other than they are replacing a lot of starters and I think will be starting a sophomore QB. I think. I know the Wolves scrimmaged Betsy and I think Greeneville. Not heard a thing about either scrimmages.

Looking forward to welcoming the blazers to The Ridge. I still have no clue how the Wolves will be on both sides of the ball. I know they lost a lot to graduation. Hope they are competitive. The new video board is up and looks very nice. Great facility.

Anyone "in the know" have any info about the Wolves for 2022? Numbers up or down? Attending any 7 on 7? Scrimmages? I know they lost a lot of experience. Will they be competitive? What's the future look like? Also any info on the new video scoreboard? Posts have been up for a long time but nothing else. Can't wait for football season! Go Wolves!

Temps in the 50's, little to no chance of rain. Should be perfect football weather. The strength of the Wolf is in it's pack!!!!! Let's go Wolves!!!!!!

Sullivan County had their long awaited open house tonight to allow anyone and everyone to tour the facilities. I am even more impressed now that I have seen it in person. I still don't like the track around the field to the football stadium and there are future plans to "finish" the football stadium with additional seating and video board. If I could post pics, I'd share.

Not sure Stars. Most of those older South posters stopped posting a few years back and I haven't heard anything from them in quite a while.

QB was Curt Phillips who went on to Wisconsin. Very kind words Pep....mixed emotions on the closing of the schools but annexation made by Kingsport into the county hurt tremendously. I am excited for not only the sports programs but also the amount of classes and CTE classes that are being offered. The facilities are top notch but I hate the track around the field.

I know you are. I've honestly not ran across a rude Maryville fan. Yes, I was present for the South vs Maryville game. Love the atmosphere there and how close the stands are to the field.

Those of us here the "T" tend to lay fairly low RR....The fan support this year has been great. I would expect there will be a large following in Maryville this Friday. Not sure if the band will make the trip, however I haven't heard they will not be traveling. Forecast looks like good football weather. As far as the game goes, everyone knows the task at hand for the Pack. These Wolves have been told all year long they wont/can't win, from preseason (predicted to go 0-10 or 1-9) to the first playoff game. With that said, I couldn't be more proud of the coaches, players and fans for coming together to support this new school. Nothing but total respect for the program there at Maryville and what they have done and sustained over the years. You guys have done what every single school in TN aspires to be. Praying for a clean game with no injuries and as always GO PACK GO!!!!
