Well to be honest South Pittsburg is still loaded.Not to jump the gun being it's only Feb. But really South Pittsburg is loaded with battle tested players.Senior leadership without big egos will abound. The lines that are in question have as much or more ability than the previous.Some of those candidates were starters on defense.1 300lb super soph.D-1 prospect all-state running back linebacker heads the backfield full of talent and battle tested. We know we have some threaders who say they are insiders that will play down this these comments.But truly South Pittsburg is loaded. WR was the question also.Well maybe not as quick of a strike but ,we got em.1 was hurt last year and we expect big things from him this year. The quaterback is a junior, will be an all-state candidate.1 of the best dual qb's in the area.Before threaders begin to hammer,just remember it's just Feb. I don't don't dead pan.I'm straight up.This teams going for history at this school.It's not going to be easy to stop them .Much respect to Trousdale,classey bunch.

The Warriors did the Pirates in.As an alumni of South Pittsburg I am extremely dissapointed in the style of play and effort put in by the Pirates. The Pirates just don't seem to have any heart, and that is one thing that a lot of the players have been missing lately, they don't want to play the game and do the little things it takes to win games, like get on the floor, and play defense. It seems like most are just worried about their points like usual, sometimes you even have scrubs come off the bench and fire wild shots just trying to score and have numbers by their name in the paper, the players don't know their roles and don't care. The Warriors played a great game and Corpeio could not be stopped he was just to quick for anyone they brought at him. The Pirates kept wanted to try and loft shots right over Cody and he sent them away every time, no pump fakes no nothing. The Pirates need to get their mind right, hopefully it will be a better game next time.

Folks the face of football will be changed with this hire.Tim is 1 of the best coaches in Tennessee.Memphis high school football will return to be a force with his coming.He just has a wealth of knowledge and his ability to get into a young man's head, is on it's own level.Welcome back from your exile Tim Thompson.How many NFL players has he developed? Thank-you so much Commander.I'm Daniel,David's dad.We are so happy and pleased with this past season.Meeting people like yourself along with coach Satterfield from TC made our day just that much more enjoyable.Tennessee high school football is a bit underestimated i think.Especially at the A division.We didn't stay for the AA game but did get to chat with some of Alcoa's people.Class personified. We are looking forward to a great season again.TC will be a tremendous test no doubt.This small school and community are unreal.Dedicated coaches players and parents make it so unique.Again thanks again for the kind heartfelt words.Hope to be chatting with you again.And good luck to you and your boys this coming season.

Good points sir indeed.All i can ask you is have you ever seen #2 David Jones?About replacing Robert Robinson.Very similar runner but with more speed and moves.Mind you at 195lbs not as big .over 1,200yrds on a little over 100carries. I don't know what his body fat% is,but there's not much there.All-state, all region,region's mvp on defense,mvp in the state championship .The folks around here think that Jones might be a beter athelete overall than Robinson.Time will tell must stay away from injuries.Robinson truely never missed a call.Alot to live up to for Jones.Hard to believe Jones could be better

Well here at South Pittsburg we have David Jones ,6ft0 and 195lbs.he runs a 4.5 fourty.benches 365.has has 1,100yrds plus on maybe100 hundred carries.100 tackles from his outside linebacking position.region 3-1A defensive player of the year.Being compared to NFL and former Tennessee Vol Eddie Moore,who also preped at South Pittsburg.Enroute to 1-A state championship game vs. Mckenzie. 3.9 grade point average.Rising junior here.
