  1. Explain how a school can release tickets before the TSSAA releases them. If not, how did Lexington blatantly release them when TSSAA is the one that releases them? Your gripe is with TSSAA. Once the tickets go live they are going to be purchased.
  2. The way the covid protocols have worked all season is through internal controls of each school. You look at your program and determine whether or not you can play. If you can't, you notify the other team. McMinn County said they were ready to play and good to go. That has been the standard the entire season. This situation appears to be unique. The Sullivan county health department said that there could not be a game played. Had this game been scheduled to be played in McMinn County then the game would have happened. At the end of the day, the Home team was unable to host the game as scheduled. How can you forfeit the opposing team at the command of the home team? I would bet on a no contest declaration and a bye for Maryville. If McMinn County is forced to forfeit a huge can of worms has been opened when a county agency can cause forfeits for opposing teams. There is a certain large county in the Western end of the state that will be undefeated against outside teams come basketball season.
  3. https://imgur.com/gallery/w6G2uri Lexington interception to seal the win.
  4. Lexington intercepts with 1:25 and runs out of bounds. Creekwood keeps up their usual mo tonight and runs him into the bleachers for another unsportsmanlike penalty. 28-20 Lexington in victory formation.
  5. Isaiah McClaine with the 60 yd td run. 28-20 Lexington. Personal foul on CW for late hit after the TD. 8:03 left
  6. They are breaking out the trick plays. Who knows
  7. 21-20 Lexington after a failed 2pt conversion by creek wood.
  8. The McClaine train with 2 tds. LHS up 14-0 1:37 left in the 1st qtr.
  9. You've got Fayette-Ware in the semis? They beat Chester Co. (who is absolutely horrible and gave up 70+ to Single A JCS) 36-32. They have 4 actual wins which include Chester Co., Bolivar (only team in West TN worse than Chester Co), Single A Scotts Hill and a 7 loss Millington team.
  10. Here is the kick https://imgur.com/gallery/82E3Jpg I definitely think both Lexington Kids are deserving of a look. McClaine runs like Derrick Henry and could easily get 2000 yards this year if they wanted him to with the next two games. Wood’s kicks have been bombs all year.
  11. Still 10-0 Lexington at the end of the third quarter.
  12. 52 yard fg as time expires in the first half. https://imgur.com/gallery/e9rvibU
  13. If this game comes down to special teams then Lexington has it in the bag. Their kick returner and kicker are both 3 and 4 year starters, seniors and pre-season all state selections. Expect to see a lot of kickoffs and punts returned with effect or choose to kick away from #1. Expect the kickoffs from Lexington to be through the back of the end zone.
  14. The turnover stat is a little misleading. Three of the 5 turnovers came on 4th down so there was likely a change of possession coming. One of the interceptions actually hurt Lexington as it was on 4th down and intercepted 15 yds down the field. Special teams were the key. Two of Springfield scores came on an 8 yd drive after a blocked punt and a punt return.
  15. Lexington 14 - Springfield 0. Halftime
  16. If White House wins the next two they will have to face Haywood or Crockett County. There isn’t anything easy about those two teams.
  17. The game is in Lexington. Seeding only matters in the first two rounds. The winner of this game will have to travel to the winner of Springfield/Pearl Cohn game.
