I have left all kids out of it but when you get on here and say they are crybabies, and say i bet the bells are still ringing in thier little ears you deserve to be called out. so what you need to do is rethink what you are saying a grow up. Good game to the boys from AC they played a heck of a ball game. Number 11 is a good football player. That kind of game is what High School football is all about. But as for you MYSTERY. Your team has yet to get past the 2nd round and don't count your chickens before they hatch. Catholic is a good football team. Listen kid don't let your mouth write checks that your backside can't cash. I am glad that you now have something to do for the next week. Even though you had nothing to do with the game. THEMYSTERY- First of all read what i wrote i did not call the whole region physical. I said carter was a physical team. I can see why you are a little upset being a former player. (probably get the paper every saturday morning waiting to see how your beloved team did because you have no life) get over yourself. You might not remember but the carter staff is used to playing in a tough region 3-4A. And they won some games. I know they did not win alot but they did win. You just made some off the wall comments and i thought somebody should say something. So i expect you to be there in you old AC letterman jacket to see a good high school football game. Well Carter has struggled a bit on the pass coverage but they have not had a major slip in a little while. Carter must overcome mistakes to take this one. This will be a good game. Carter is a physical team and they have a very good tail back look at the prep extra stats. (he is the one at the top) I am sure AC has a good football team. I think it will be a great game that will come down to who wants it more. Carter still has a bad taste in thier mouth from last year. Also Carter has seen Powell's QB in the spring. I know it was a while ago but Houston did not look that impressive. He really did not do anything to the hornets in that scrimage. Also these boys can worry about Saturday's next year. When carter was in 4 a they were the smallest school in the classification in the state. Get your facts straight. That is why they moved down. It looks like to me that those beatings they used to take have created a good football program and teams. Seymour and carter played when they were in 4 a and Seymour won. You guys are just upset at the recent beat downs they have been giving you. And for your information they will not play in a larger classification all of the teams in their region are currently now in 3 a Fulton, AE, and Gibbs. And you are right about carter not making it far in the playoffs. Nothing can be said, they have not preformed when the time comes. Hopefully this could be the year that they make a run. You are also right about teams only being able to beat the teams on their schedule. They have done this. Winning all region contests so far!!!!! Okay SHSEagle 05 listen carter does not struggle when you hit them in the mouth because they are usually the ones doing the hitting in the mouth. Of course the hornets have not beaten a great team yet but neither has Seymour so your argument is gone. Carter has a great backfield and a solid oline. Stats prove it #28 has over 100 yards a game that is proof the oline is solid. Also they get great help from the fb he probably will never get the ball but he is a great blocking back. By the way in the last 3 years (the time #47 has played) they have not scored a touchdown on the hornets, NOT EVEN A FIELD GOAL!!! so get over it!! Carter will win this and need to look for a battle in the playoffs. they have the number 1 win or lose they just need to get a chance at Fulton again. Rutledge is a team that you can get some experience and let the youngerones play and make sure your offense is ready for a run in the playoffs. Defense has been steller all year except for two quaters against fulton. Carter keep doing what you are doing and eventually things will happen. CARTER 42 Rutlege 7 Go HORNETS!!!!

well red neckerson i do belive you are correct on this one. listen dana it is parents like you that make it hard on coaches to do what they do. You say that you are going to leave and get petitions started to get coaches gone because your son can't hack it and you think you can get one in that might like your kid and put him in. well i think you need to just do that and show everyone how immature you are. You do not need to bash on number#11 because he is the best offensive threat on the team. and if you think that this years qb is better than last years you are sadly mistaken. i do not take anything away from Mark allen he is a great kid and a heck of a player but he does not have the mind like stanton did. be happy with going to the JV games and shut your mouth. let the kids play and the coaches coach. sit and watch the game like other people and keep comments about children out of your mouth. wow i have wanted to say that since the begining of the post. well there is alot of talk about this game. This game could be repeated in the playoffs. in a few short weeks. but i think the hornets have a good team maybe one of the better ones in 3a but the falcons have a great team and they are one of the best if not the best in 3a. i watched the fulton and catholic game and catholic one because of two things they stopped rogan from making big plays for one and for two they could not stop catholic at all when they needed to. this game will be a big test for the hornets to see if their domiant d can maintain against a good offense. the next test will be for carter's offense to see if it can score against the best defense they have faced all year. if you remember they could not capitalize a few times this year on offense like against south doyle. but the falcons will be tested as well carters defense is good and have the ability to stop rogans big numbers and also they are a pretty sound offense by not turning the ball over alot. this game does not have very huge implications on playoffs because each team has done very well in their respective regions. one other thing i would like to add the people who think that carter is dead in the water really has not looked at football in a while. any team can win at any time you cant say other wise look what livingston did last year. upset alot of teams on their way to the state championship. i look for the hornets to smash the eagles friday night. lets just hope they don't act crazy like the boys from the last home game and lets hope the music man will keep his job. Carter wins in this one 35-7 but the hornets can not look past union county because last years game was closer than anybody thought. Carter has a great team and they are sound at positions but they need to let some of the younger players get some time in the game earlier. I know you want to put you best foot forward but think about when those seniors are gone next year without experience the hornets will struggle in those positions. let the starters rest more and get the young boys into the games they are the future of the program that is becomeing more and more successful.

Carter will have a good d next year. they have some key returners. Hall, Rudd, Bozeman, Watson, also they some young guns that can bring the wood,J. Bozeman and C. Grubb these two should be big names by the end of the year. Watch out for the D to be swarming as it was last year.

From top to bottom it will be 1. CARTER 2. SEYMOUR 3. PIGEON FORGE 4. GIBBS 5. UNION CO 6. CLAIBORNE 7. RUTLEDGE Carter lost alot but still will have enough to win the region. Hopefully they will have enough to make a playoff run. Seymour will have a decent team like they always do but not enough to take the top Pigeon Forge is getting better and could move up more in the next years The rest of the list could go in any order Rutledge may suprise some folks this year and Gibbs, Union, and Claiborne could go in any order these teams are about even.

carter has alot of strong returning players, hall, gorman, brown, bozeman, and these boys played both ways last year and will do it again, they will have great leadership because of a big senior class coming up, also some of the freshmen look to make a big impact on the hornets offense and defense. landry stanton, caleb grubb, josh bozeman all are big time players in the making. carter should win the region and get in the playoffs then anything can happen. all i know is these boys are hungry to get back because they thought they could have went alot farther than they did.

this will be a good game and i hope that the hornets win. LA is a good team i am sure. the hornets offence needs to get going early and score every chance that they get. this game will be won on people making the most of opportunities. the Hornets also have home field advantage and the place will be packed carter 21 la 14

This will be Carters last region game of the year and i think that they will end it on a big win. The hornets are stinging mad after the recent loss to the falcons. They also are getting ready for the Home playoff game in a long time. I just hope the hornets are not looking to far forward. Carter 42 Rutledge 7 Go Big Green

Fulton knows how to win when it counts????? What about the thier first two region games. A-E and Anderson County. Now they are in a situation of win or go home. If they new how to win when it counts then they would not be in this situation. They would already have a spot in the playoffs. And stop thinking that Reigion 2 is so much better its not! As a matter of fact you say that our players are better than other team's players in our "weak" region. Some of them are better than players on your roster. Carter has played teams in a lot better region that yours. 3-4A last year almost the entire team played against Maryville (which demolishes Alcoa), Central, Powell.

Alcoa has a great team with about 4 or 5 great players. Carter has good players that can make plays. They have 3 runningbacks that can run the ball great and they have 3 good wide recievers. That is what well balanced means they do not have to go to there playmakers, anyone on this team can make a big play. Here is another question. What teams have the Falcons played? Sure you played Alcoa but who else ???Scott, Kingston, a 1 dimentional Catholic team. Don't be mad because the Falcons could not live up to the hype of going undefeated again. Lets see what happens on Friday night, I think you guys will have a different outlook when the game is over.

Carter has not played a team like Fulton and Fulton has not played a team like Carter. Fulton dose have a good running game but that is about it. The falcons have a young QB that makes too many mistakes. The Hornet D will eat him alive. Fulton has not played a team that is as well balanced as the Hornets on offence. Carter can run and pass and have an experienced QB. I think the Hornets will win in a good game. Carter 28 Fulton 21

The last time the hornets were at Gibbs we won 20-0. I think this will be a good game . The hornets do not need o play sloppy like they did last week. This is a big game for the hornets i think it will be the first region championship in like 10 years or something. If the hornets do not get to worried about next week then i think they will win big. Carter played sloppy and the rain did not help either. Carter was slowed down by the mud and could not use thier speed to the outside. This game could have gotten ugly if the hornets had came ready to play. And about the gesture that the kid made, I think some action should be taken by the coaching staff. This is not sportsmanlike.

The past is the past and the Hornets are 6-0 so stop trying to justify Carter beating a team that you used to play for by saying that they were no any good in 4a. It is done with. I will be at the game and I hope that Union gives the Carter boys a good game. From what I see Union beat Pegion Forge. I was not at this game but this must mean that they have the potential to win a big game. Good luck to both teams. And BIGC this post is for you!!
