  1. You can't expect Cookeville not to make excuses when they loose to a school literaly half of their size. It's not normal for them not to complain about loosing to Livingston. I'm pretty sure that Livingston beat C-ville in 2001?

  3. Out of all of those teams, I was not impressed with Knox Carter. THey had an impressive record, but were from a very weak region. The wildcats did barely squeek by them, but I still don't know if Carter is a top 10 team. However, there are several teams from Livingston's region that could be top 10. 1.) Livingston Academy 2.) Notre Dame 3.) Knox Catholic 4.) Fulton 5.) Austin East 6.) David Lipscomb 7.) Anderson County 8.) White House 9.) Dyersburg 10.) White House
  4. Futbol Fan...Cates will more than likely not play quarterback in college. You are wrong about him not being able to play D-1A ball. He's being heavily recruited by Vanderbilt and Colorado. He will sign as an athlete, and possibly play DB or Safety. He's a great player, and can play bigger than 1-AA if he chooses. Have you even seen him play? There are many players at major D-1A schools that start, and are not over 6'0.
  5. Get over it play 4 fun. CATES OWNS YOU.
  6. Livingston Academy's Christmas tournament is the longest running in the state.
  7. All I know is that Chase Dunn has two publicists already.......play 4 fun and dawg 05 nead to relax. The kid is good, but when Cates gets back he will be the starting point guard. I'm not sure when you played at Livingston if you did, but Cates has been the starting point guard for the past 3 years, and will this year. Who DID you play for? As far as him not being good at basketball, thats ridiculous. No he wont put up 30 a game. He's an overall great player and a great point guard. He's a leader on that floor. He may only average 10-15 points a game, but he opens up shots to other players by penetraing to the goal. He could score more driving and taking jump shots, but he's not a selfish player. Obviously you must be jelous, anyone that compares their skills to a current highschool player has some problems. Your highschool career is over. I've watched Dunn play since he was in middle school. He's a great player, and hustler. NEXT year he will be the starting point guard. He's had a good season thus far, but his role will change once Cates gets back. Tyler Livingston needs to get back in that lineup to put some meat in there. He's a big player and some size is needed down low to get in there and get some rebounds.
  8. Actually, LA will probably get a college nearby to let them borrow them for Saturday, it would be way to exspensive to buy turf shoes for 1 game for a full team.

  10. J Tidwel, the kicking game at LA is fine, if you've read the paper then you would see that Livingstons kicker hit 26 in a role before missing in the playoffs, then hit a 27 yard fg along w/ 3/3 XP's against Catholic in the playoffs. I'm sure all LA players will have their A game and everything will be left on the field.
  11. What I love is that out of the last 4 play off games....there has been over a %70 percentile rating for the other team to win. This is ONLY because of Livingston's record and lack of respect for them. Friday night Livingston put up 48 points on a team that has held the last 13 teams to a 4.8 points per game average. Still, %70 percent of people pick David Lipscomb. Records don't mean anything in the playoffs. Wilson Cates & company are not finished yet, and they will roll until the title is taken.
  12. He's one of the best players that have ever stepped on Livingston Academy's field....we will be seeing a lot of him in the future.
  13. He's getting recruited pretty heavily at the D-1 level. He's an outstanding QB. He does not throw the ball much because of the option offense, but he's got a very strong arm
  14. 1A-Trousdale 2A-Alcoa 3A-Livingston 4A-Maryville 5A-Riverdale
  15. Yes.....but you better get there super early. This game will be packed. If you've ever seen the movie "Friday Night Lights" then that will give you an idea on how this town feels about football.
  16. Charley, your ignorance is bliss. Congrats to that. How does a teams recrod matter if they are in the semi-finals of the state? When playoffs start, the records restart. Notre Dame is 2-0, and Livingston Academy is 2-0. Nothing else previous matters.
  17. Here are the facts. 1.) Both teams are talking trash. 2.) Neither team has a really tough schedule, but ND has beaten better teams in the playoffs 3.) Notre Dame will win 4.) You are both playing for 2nd though An all private 3A championship! _________________________________________- 1.) Correct 2.) Incorrect- As been stated in early posts, ND has a stregnth of schedule rating of 41. Livingston has a rating of 2nd. Livingston Academy Playoffs (Carter) 9-1 (Knox Catholic) 11-1 [/b]Notre Dame Playoffs (Macon County) 5-5 (Pearl Cohn) 8-2 3.) Incorrect 4.) Incorrect Your factoral rating on your previous posts Dr. Justice is only 25%. The only fact might be both teams are talking trash. However, I think the real players are more focused on the game than they are a lowsy message board that contains people that know nothing about either team. Stregnth of scheduled can be proved. However, everything else is your opinion that you are entitled too.
  18. There is probably going to be 200 posts by Friday, of which are all repetition of previous posts.....this is going to be a great game. It's the semi-finals of the state. Records don't matter, neither the prestige and past history of your school. All that matters is who lines up to play on Friday night. Any team can win on any given night. Be ready for a good game.
  19. Two Words........ Wilson Cates Enough Said.
  20. I would not put Austin East ahead of Livingston Academy, Catholic beat AE 21-0, and Catholic beat Livingston Academy 24-21
  21. Knox Catholic's punter has a very strong leg, he's just not that consistant.
  22. Livingston Academy does. They play: Trousdale County Fulton Austin East Anderson County Knox Catholic
