Mount Pleasant plays Lewis County and i believe Fairview. then the region teams

1. FCS- they're the best team returning in 1A and until someone knocks them off they're #1. You've got to beat the best to be the best. 2. Mt. Pleasant- you can say all you want about the "one man show" but someone is going to step up for my boys and they're gong to shock alot of people. 3. Jo Byrns- everyone counted them out this past year loosen there QB and they still went undefeted, and this year they have some returning playmakers. 4. Trousdale County- traditional powerhouse had an off year, watch out. 5. South Pitt- always dangerous!!! Don't know much about Regions 7 and 8.

our players weren't overconfident!!! most of them came ready to play ball to the very end!!! u could tell by the looks on there faces before and during the game... then just all of that emotions after the game, they came to play... i believe they just werent use to the travel!!! the last time we left the county was for the wayne co. game!!! we were at home or in maury co. for almost 2 months straight!!! as for next year... i believe the Tigers are gonna win it again, but there's going to be an even BIGGER target, not only on the team, but at Marco especially!!!!

im with you!!! the hard hitting started from the opening kickoff to the very last play!!! that was a high school football game!!! the excitement, the hits, and the players laying everything on the line on every play!!!

We dressed out alot more than 25... We had 20 freshmen alone... but to answer your question we lost another class of 16 like we did the year before.

We lost alot of players from our squad 2 years ago as well, but still captured the region championship and made it back to the 3rd round in the playoffs... just because a team loses alot doesn't mean anything, except the under classmen have to step up that much more.

From the East I'll say the top 4 are Trousdale Co., South Pittsburg, Friendship Christian, and Hampton. (not in order) Fromt the West its JCS, Lake County, Union City, Jo Byrns, and Mt. Pleasant. (not in that order) Just a little side note... From what I've heard from some of our boys, there's a 3-way scrimmage at Eagleville with Eagleville, South Pitt., and Mount Pleasant... Should be interesting.

my vote goes to coach smith at mount pleasant... he took a group of guys who went 0-10 to 8-3, 12-1, and 11-2. he brings a breathe of fresh air to the mp community about football. he's won back to back region championships in one of the toughest regions in the state. i also want to recognize the asst. coaches at mp also b/c without them coach smith wouldnt be able to do what he has been doin.

thats really bad for GC... im a MP fan all the way but i went to school in pulaski when i was younger and i was hopin for the best for GC and Coach J... Good luck findin a new coach... Do we play yall again next year?????

i think frankewing did have a team but dont know the nickname... those girls from lynville could shoot... im a lil on the young side but i had an aunt thatwent to lynnville and u still here stories about those years from time to time down on the lynnville town square... bodenham down in giles use to have some good girls back in the 30's... i saw a picture and i think it said they won the mid-championship on year.

U cant forget Chase and Beau either... When Beau got hurt was when the defense was a lil shakey at times.

OH YEA N E 1 KNOW WHEN THE TIGER BUS IS LEAVING? CUZ I DON'T FEEL LIKE LOOKING AT THIS DUMB MAP i believe i heard some of the players talkin that they are leavin at 2:30 or 2:45 somethin like that... its right at the end of school.

no it means that they are concentrating on this week just like mp is concentrating on c-wood... this is 1A football aint nuthin given on any friday night.

Excactly!!! this is 1A football, anybody can when on any friday night. take them one at a time and everythingwill work out.

ninetyone-zero u r right. i remember tc from when my brothers p;ayed at MP and they graduated in the 90's the only time i heard of jb was when we had to play them... it's one thing to be talk about when ur playin a team and another if the only time u'll play them is in the stae championship.(if u can make it that far)
