Define hand check? I watched the enitre game, and I will agree that there were missed calls through out the entire game on both ends... just b/c a defnder has an arm extended doesnt mean they are affecting how the ball handler is turning or pivoting... if you noticed Lowe never once got off balance while going full speed, and if there is a hand check while going full speed then you would not be able to travel in straight lines, Maxwell played good strong LEGAL defense all night long. The point is you could take every play of every game & somewhere along every play there is a foul or violation of some sort, no one plays perfect, the officals are not suppose to call every little thing, but call one way physical or touchy, one or the other but call it that way from tip to finish. Those Refs established early what kind of game they were going to have, & that was to let the players decide. the only reason I have responded to your post is b/c the JC girls deserve every bit of credit for the game they played. They out hustled, were better prepared, and just flat out worked C-range over. You are trying to dis-credit a great game from a group of girls that deserve nothing but constructive positive comments... I hope Reed is ok, she is a true player even as a freshman, and if any of the JC Fans said negative things about her while she was down, thats uncalled for, and highly disrespectful. Jackson County has 3 excellent 3 point shooters... Courtney Dyer, Paige Sevier, & Misti Maxwell, Emily Bowman isnt bad either...

if this is an individual award the person with the best stats should be nominated... I think the clear cut winner for AA plays in District 7AA and Dominates the Paint. Now her teams record isnt good and they would be like 4-20 without her... She deserves District MVP & a nomination for Ms. B-ball. AAA- Too Many Big Time Players to choose from... A - Tashia Phillips, Kayla Hudson, & Abby Andrews

I'll take C-Range + 4, with RBS -4 having home court and C-Range coming off the loss to JC. I'll take Summertown -3 @home coming out for blood... Moore +6 @ Richland, barn burner, but I think Moore wins.... Now thats a Parlay....

Prime Example: no team in 7A could win a game going 0/15 from behind the arch, playing against any other 7A team except one... Greenfield goes 0/15 from 3-pt land against RBS, JC, or C-Range and it doesnt matter about how good your Inside game or Defense played, you lose. Clay County & Picket County would be the talk of your District if they were there... those 2 teams would win or at worst be 2nd in any other district in the state... Wait & Watch, no one else's believes it until they see it first hand...

Jackson County maybe 13-8 overall but they are in the top 5 in Single A... The only 2 single A teams they have lost 2 are RBS & Clarkrange.. who are #1 & #2 over all by your poll... which JC lost by 4 points both times to RBS, and had a 5 point game going into the 4th quarter @ C-range & just had a aweful 4th Quarter... I do believe we all will admit that no one wants to play them elimanation time... 1. Clarkrange 2. RBS 3. Gleason 4. Summertown 5. Jackson Co 6. Forrest None of these 6 are head and shoulders above each other, but they are above the rest...
