The Liberty Crusaders are one of the strongest teams of these four in class AA. I see them winning the state championship. First they have to get pass Haywood. People make Bolivar out to be more than what they really are. Bolivar is nowhere as near as athletic as Liberty. Liberty's whole bench is deep with athleticism. You can put 5 players in and take them out and put 5 more in. They are just a great crew of boys. Bolivar just runs off of Wayne and Willie. If they dont play then the team aint gonna do too great. But just think, without Brandon Evans..Liberty can still win..Without the Long twins..Liberty can still win. so im gonna say that Liberty is going all the way this year.

well since i've read the replies to this topic i can now say a little more about the game on Monday...reading that this team Hume-Fogg is farely good, i see that liberty can run away with these guys and make a trip to murfreesboro...these boys will b making school history with this trip. These liberty boys are very athletic and they are some respectful boys also..they play good together and their bench is deep with athleticism. Now looking at Hume-Fogg's record...they are an ok team..now im not gonna say that they dont have the capability to beat liberty im jus saying that i dont see it happening but its possible.....sum ppl said that liberty wouldnt beat bolivar n see wat happened? anything is possible but i dont think hume-fogg winning tomorrow night is possible. now if evans, jones, sampson, n the long twins come out strong tomorrow nite then i see a blow out on the way...if the bench come out strong like sain, b.jones, and the others..i see liberty goin to state next week..im just lookin for a good game on tomorrow nite..i just hope when i go i get my money's worth. now all these people that are talkin bout west tn's defense..we have sum crucial defense over here....have yall not seen liberty's press....its a killer...dont see many ppl breakin their press...their press is so crucial that they score big points off of it...if hume-fogg can break it then it must b something...well i hope liberty wins tomorrow...GO CRUSADERS!!!

i have alot of confidence in liberty and i have alot of faith in them also because of their performance in the district and regional tournaments. I havent heard of this team they are playing but i do know that liberty will play hard and finish strong. Brandon and Antwan will play hard and the rest of the team will also. i love the liberty team so much because all of their players can play basketball and u can put them in the game at any time and jus feel comfortable with them in their. i just love Liberty....GO CRUSADERS!!!!!!!!

well...i would have to say that thursday night's game @ Lexington with Bolivar vs. Liberty was the best game i have seen all season. That game was so intensifying that you didnt even want to leave your seat to go to the concession stand!!! Both teams played well and with alot of heart. I arrived at the gym @ 5:30 when the doors opened and had to sit approximately 67 mins. until the game started. the gym was packed and met its capacity. of course me being a lexington high school student i knew i would have to get there earlier cause this was a huge game that night and there was no way i could miss it. back to the game...liberty came out with alot of energy from the previous game with a good win over the mcnairy central bobcats on tuesday night. liberty's brandon evans had a high of 31 pts that night. he played magnificent having missed the game previous of that one due to ankle injury. the whole team played great that night. Bolivar came into thursday night's game not quite as strong as they could of came in. They knew that they wanted to win, but i didnt think they wanted it bad enough. the week prior to this past week was the district tournament at chester county n bolivar beat liberty by 16 pts. i jus knew that liberty was not bout to let that happen again. liberty was almost perfect from the free throw line while bolivar struggled to get the shots to fall. antwan long had a great game and devon jones did too also. Brandon evans played an amazing game thursday night. He is a terrific basketball player and a well respected one as well. Lots of people look up to him for his good manners and his respect that he has for people. he is just a great person to be around. the whole liberty team has a great crew of boys that know the game of basketball very well. Just think the long twins are gonna b there next year. practically the whole team is going to be there next year. but back to the game... Free throws will win games for you..if u dont believe that statement jus look at thursday nights game..it made the difference for liberty...im so proud of the boys cause they played their hearts out n they dedicated the game to Mr. Long who passed away during the district tournament. they knew what had to be done so they went out on the floor and did it. liberty deserved the region title n know all they have to do is secure it with a win over hume fogg monday night so they can take a trip to murfreesboro for the first time in school history. and yes...it is said to be that liberty and bolivar can meet up for a fifth time...yea they can meet up again and what a game that will be. i hope they do meet up again cause thursday night's game was just what i wanted to see all season long. i would really like to see it again but in a lot bigger facility so everybody can move around freely without getting your seat taking everytime u get up. and Lexington has one of the biggest gyms so i think it should stay at lexington high school but i know that sumbody else is hosting the regions next year so maybe can lexington host the district again?...lol

well i am glad for this match once again....i havent gotten to see liberty and bolivar play at all this season cause i've been with my team but this will b an exciting game to watch and i hope the liberty crusaders come out victorious in this game. the liberty team is magnificent this year..they have good boys out there on the floor..they havent ever accomplished this is school history n i think that this is their year to shine so they deserve to win..i really hope they go to state this year..they deserve all of this recognition...now im not tryin to say that bolivar dont deserve it, im jus stayin that liberty deserves it more...bolivar has won this district title before..liberty hasnt..bolivar has been to state tournament consecutive times..liberty hasnt...brandon evans is a terrific player n if i had to name somebody to b mvp of this district tournament it would b brandon evans. the long twins r really good..bijon jones brings alot of excitement to the team..all of the boys are really good..so im excited they are playing wednesday night n i hope to see a good game and hopefully a good result in the end...

im not sure bout the other classes...im jus familiar with class AA..i think that willie kemp(bolivar), and wayne chism(bolivar) for sure should be finalists...brandon evans (liberty) should be also, he's a great basketball player. i can only think of three at this moment. when i think of others i'll inform you.

well...i think that reggie is a phenomenal player..he doesnt get the recognition that he deserves..maybe when mack leaves he will get it..and yes i do agree with the person that was talkin bout Fry. he is a terrific player that jus needs sum well deserved playin time to show the ppl that dont know him that he can play sum basketball..and jus think of him and reggie and staten together..wat a combination!!! but i believe that with some more hard work from bomar then he can really go somewhere with his talent!!!im so excited bout the ball season that is comin up...i hope the boys play well in the district and regional play...i also hope the same for the girls..but next yr. the boys are gonna need alot of their younger players to step up and play hard..im jus so excited to see our new point guard next yr which will be the famous Josh Fry..i jus wish everybody knew how good he is...but i guess u'll jus have to wait until the next season to see him

well first just let me say that liberty is a fantastic team and they played very well tuesday night. lexington did not have a good game and it was quite obvious. but as i say..u cant hold brandon evans or any other of the liberty players..they are jus that good. im not sayin that lexington is bad and uncapable of holdin them...im jus sayin that it cant be done at this time by lex. the twins were phenomenum that night. i jus love watchin liberty play and i love watchin lexington play but tuesday night was not their night...yea..lexington will try to make a come by gettin a win friday night and then preparin for chester co. next week and then meetin bolivar next friday which should be a good game but in order for lexington to win that game they got to get their minds right and they got to put the fear behind them and jus play ball the way they are capable of playin..they cant let willie and chism get to them like last game and when they let that happen they jus went crazy and got beat. but who knows wat is bound to happen in the next couple of games but for lex. to beat liberty they have to get their minds right and they have to contain brandon evans and the twins and the sain boy and the others and if they can do that and stay out of foul trouble then they will be alright but if they start actin like they aint got no sense then they gonna get beat by 30 again!!

im not gonna waste my time and say much bout the game tuesday but im gonna say a few words...yes its true lexington lost a player but that doesnt mean that they will give up and not keep playin good...this jus allows the other players to step up and do their job. i think tuesday night's game will be quite interesting. im not sayin who will win but im just sayin that both teams will play good and fight hard to get a win!!!

well lets see...my school has alot of chants so let me just name a few when there is a substitute and the other player is goin to sit on the bench we go STEP STEP STEP STEP SIT DOWN!!!!!

well let me say just a few words and then im gonna leave this conversation alone...... EVERYBODY THAT DOESNT HAVE A GAME ON JANUARY 3, 2006 COME TO LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL TO SEE THE LEXINGTON TIGERS BATTLE THE BOLIVAR CENTRAL TIGERS!!! NOW IF U CANT COME JUST LISTEN TO IT ON THE RADIO... and if u cant listen to it on the radio then just buy a newspaper to see the results!!

well it seems like every time i get on here, there are people tryin to downgrade the lexington tigers. well let me just state some things for everybody....lexington boys aint goin nowhere for the next couple of years. they are just a great team and i just dont understand why people dont have faith in them i mean just look who all makes up the team.... u got jonathan keck, reggie bomar, cordaro staten, derek beecham, and mack gardner as the startin five for the team. now lets talk bout these 5... they are a very much talented group of boys. now y people say that bolivar is gonna run away with these boys i just dont understand. i would put staten and bomar up against wayne chism anytime cause i kno that they can get the job done down low in the post. now lets talk bout the rest of the team.. u got kevis buckley, who is an excellent defensive player, colton fields, who can run the point at any given time, antonio timberlake, who is one of the best 3 point shooters that i kno, allen threadgill, who is recovering from an injury but can make a difference when it matters. now these few boys can make some thangs happen when the starters are out of the game... now lets talk bout the rest of the team... u got spencer taylor who is very strong in the post, and camden crowe who is not mentioned that much but is a good offensive player who can come in the game and put up some points for the team...but this is not all of the team.. u got some young players such as caleb robertson who has a good 3 point shot, chris todd who is a good shooter, billy keck who is another jonathan keck in the making, derek simms, who is strong in the post, and roy beecham, who is a good ball player also. and now that i have wrote something bout the members of the team let me just add a newcomer to the team.... and that is the freshman josh fry... he is an outstanding player who is a great offensive and defensive player. people should not underestimate this kid cause he is capable of doing anything while on the court. some things that u may not think is possible to do it is done by this kid. so now that i have described the team for u let me just say these boys are capable of beating liberty and of course bolivar. and just let me add this in here bolivar is gonna be nothing when willie and wayne is gone so im gonna let yall talk all u want for now but when they are gone dont try to jump on the wagon with the lexington tigers because it will be too late. oh and lets talk bout liberty ... yea they got this kid name brandon evans who can make some things happen and they got bijon who is a former chester county player who can get around but i think lexington can beat these guys. so while u guys try to hurry along the christmas holiday just waitin for january 3 to come, the tigers and lady tigers will be down at fort walton beach, fl gettin some rest and of course takin care of business on the basketball court. but dont think that this week of working hard on the gridiron and of course this lil vacation will get them down because they will be back just in time to get ready for the bolivar tigers!!!!!!!

ok lets just get to the point..... we are talkin bout the DECEMBER 16, 2005 game at chester county high school. we are not talkin bout the game that is three weeks from now. in my opinion i think lexington is gonna beat chester county. im not sayin that chester co is a bad team imjust sayin that lexington is gonna play well and beat them. and i would also like to add something in here just for the record:lexington's boy basketball team consists of like 15 players which means they play like and as a team. there is nobody in the spotlight yes ihave to agree that mack gardner is a terrific ball player but he doesnt run the show for lexington they also have other great players. now im not tryin to downgrade gardner or anything im just tryin to give the other players some recognition. another thing to point out is that lexington has this awesome freshman josh fry. he is just a great player all around and im expecting alot of action from him off the bench this season. while im on here i would like to point out the lady tigers of lexington they are doing a tremendous job this season. sometimes they dont get the recognition that they deserve but im just gonna take some time to recognize them and tell them to keep up the good work and i kno that its gonna b a great and BIG game friday against the eagellettes of chester county but i have faith in the lady tigers and i believe they are gonna get the job done so i would just like to say GO LADY TIGERS AND TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my predictions on the lexington vs. david lipscomb game is....................well lets just say lexington is not gonna be goin home sad. we are gonna be victorious cause we have the mindset to get this accomplished. so to all yall folks out there who dont believe in the big red tigers..........dont come runnin when we got state championship rings!!!!! so lipscomb, tell all ur fans to come out and enjoy the game because lexington is bringin the whole town and we will be there to support our team to the end. our boys will put up a fight until the last second. yall folks are forgetting what we can do. our boys have played almost all night and if we have to stay all night to get our point across then we will if we have to play until saturday mornin then we will cause we are just that kind of team just ask hardin co. about that!!!!! they can tell u how it is. so do what u please cause lexington is gonna bring their game and i hope yall will to!!

HOW COULD IT BE ANYBODY BUT THE FAMOUS KEVIS BUCKLEY? HE IS THE BEST RUNNINGBACK IN WEST TENNESSEE!!!! HE CAN WORK WONDERS ONCE THE BALL IS IN HIS HANDS!! THIS BOY HAS RUSHED OVER 200 YDS. IN ONE GAME AND LORD KNOWS HOW MANY TOUCHDOWNS THIS BOY HAS MADE IN JUST ONE GAME!! HE IS THE NEXT BIG THANG!!! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO SIGN WITH THIS BOY. HE'S GONNA MAKE SOME THINGS HAPPEN AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL JUST WAIT AND SEE!!!!! GO LEXINGTON TIGERS!!!! (9-0)
