I know its a prep school but you are in for wake up call when you enter that millitary school I can bet you they didnt care who he was their basketball team was loaded with talent before him and will be loaded with talent after him. Well said....I just didnt want to type that much. But Gardner just moved to the toughest region in the state last year. But hey...this is baseball and JP is one of the few coaches that didnt give in to politics. And you want to talk about a coach getting a buzz about his sport......JP certianly done that. Most Lexington games were standing room only. He knew how to put his team into a position to win. Except for the Seigal game, Lexington never was out of a ball game.

Now that you mention it Mr.Britt would be an excellent choice also. Great players often make great coaches. Let me say this......Jason Patterson is a good coach. He is not afriad to schedule games and he puts his best talent on the field. If you look at Lexington's schedule he didnt play any cup cakes out of district. He coached Lexington to a win agianst a Harpeth team that made it to state also. If a baseball team makes its to state....there is no way you can say they were 1 and done. Like I said great players often make great coaches, and Patterson was once one of the greatest pitchers in this area.

He might have just wanted a change of pace. I heard he is moving to Middle Tennessee. Good Luck to him.

Look I'm not even a Memphis fan, I was just giving a little respect to Tommy West and his staff. This coming from a UT fan. I never said they were not good. I think West is a great coach Be honest with yourself, Memphis is not powerhouse football school. Dont ask me why they cant be....ask some of this kids choosing to go to UT to play in front of 100,000+ fans.

Lets see....Keck gave up 2 runs against Ezell. Thats just pittyfull. Oh and it was that 3 run game against CW, talk about overrated. Now back to the topic....at first I thought Harpeth would take USJ becuase of the way the can bring the bats. But I've only seen Harpeth play 1 game and I think maybe they just were on cloud 9 that day. Whatever it was, it wasnt enough to beat Lexington, so I'm goig with USJ. Great coach and great players will be to much for Harpeth.

Who gave up the winning run agianst Lexington?

Huff was amazing through 3, but Lexington started hitting him hard in the 4th.

It would be nice to see Flutie get into the hall of fame. I know its a long shot but I think he deserves to be in there.

You're right about Deshaun. He scored from first with ease both times. And Dale Kizer also came in and showed his blazing speed by scoring the winning run. What can I say about the Keck brothers. Harpeth has a great ball club, but I would hate to have been that pitcher facing Jonathon after Billy hit that hard line drive. Talk about pressure. And Bd, they gave Mathew Bird first base, thats how they got that runner on that you couldnt acount for.

I actually agree with your top 3 McNairy will be neck and neck with Chester Co. for that 4 spot. Lexington lost everybody..but this freshman class that is coming is is being touted as the the best freshman class ever to enter LHS. I dont see Bolivar leaving the bottom of the region anytime soon.

Unapproved Website is reporting that Coach O. wants the younger Willis down in Oxford next year and that Bobby Bowden has him on his sheet as a FSU prospect. Is Fulmer going to let another Willis leave the state? He let an All-American in Detris's brother Patrick go. I was reading a magazine 1 day and there was a whole section on the Canadian marijuana industry. It just blew my mind that it was that huge. On another note..... Ricky is really taking this CFL thing seriously. He has signed Dave Chapelle as his agent, and his transition to the CFL is going to become a reality series on ESPN. Ironicaly named Fully Baked.....

The CFL will be a perfect fit for Ricky. Marijuana is $15 Billion (estimate probably more) a year indusrty in Canada. (yes I did say Billion) Marijauna is Canada's 3rd largest indusrty The famous BC Bud that comes from Canada has been found to be up to 10 times more potent than marijuana from Jamica and the CFL HAS NO DRUG TESTING POLICY I'm sure Miami will want Ricky back after a year up there.
