I should have made it clear that the girls playing are talented. I didn't mean their aren't any good players. I was referring to the big division one talent players they have had in the past by saying that talent is gone because their are no more megans, nakeishas, nicoles coming through. Didn't mean any offense to the current players as they are talented players.

All I speak is truth. For you to come on the forum and say that she doesn't use vulgarity in the locker room and has never sat in on coach duncan's practice is absolutely obsured. I have personally seen and heard her do both. She then attempts to copy what coach d does which I understand because he IS a coach that knows what he is doing but its to no avail. Ask any former player about the way she speaks and they will most definately tell you. If I'm not mistaken she was just approached by the AD randy richards about her conduct with the girls so don't make her out to be all great and holy. Everyone on here talks about Greeneville plays tough defense and that is coached so it has to be coach c. NO its not coach c. Yes Greeneville girls play hard but the reason is Greeneville girls are used to winning. They know what it takes to play tough defensive and be successful. How do they know this? Well almost all girls that play now played for coach bill mulhahan who was a great coach. HE instilled the fundamentals on defense and playing tough. His record at the middle school speaks for itself. ANYONE and I mean ANYONE who had played the game in college like coach c could have done what she has done with these teams. She doesn't know how to coach she was a player and anyone who had that knowledge could have came in and did what she has done...anyone.

She is a joke of a coach. Anyone who speaks to high school girls the way she does should not be in a position of authority over them. I have spoken with players who have graduated under coach crumbley; and although I have never heard negative comments about skeen or murray, I can't say the same about the head coach.

Coach Crumbley is an absolute joke and has been since she got the Greeneville job. She has had a surplus of talent since the day she walked through the door. Anyone who knows anything about basketball can clearly see she has no idea about the game. She sits in on Coach Duncans practicing attempting to get some clue about how a real coach does things. If you listen to what she has to say on the sidelines, or if your lucky enough to hear what she has to say in the locker room, its clear she is an idiot. In between the vulgarities that comesfrom her mouth in the locker room at half time, are shouts of nonsense. She has been to the state tournament but lets face it, east tennessee girls basketball is weak and that why she has one. None of the wins should be credited to her coaching. If you had a chance to see Coach Berkey you could obviously see that was a coach with basketball knowledge. Crumbley played the game but doesn't understand the game. Nicole and above good players have been the Greeneville program and it has nothing to do with her coaching. Think I'm wrong, sit in on one of her practices and see for yourself. I have seen plenty and she doesn't know a dang thing.

Yea and we heard how DB was going to play with Greeneville. The only time they were close to Greeneville was during warm-ups and that is because the game hadn't started. Everyone knows about their division 1 prospects, but the best player on the court isn't going to be playing for Hamilton, he will be playing for Greeneville. Antwaine Wiggins will go to a D-1 school most likely in the ACC, which puts colorado or San Fran to sham. Im anxious to see how he does against some real competition because it is possible he will put on a show. The Devils might not win but i promise people will remember who he is.

Im glad everyone on here is a basketball genius and everything, but if you look at scores then you have to take a look at this. Greeneville plays memphis craigmont at a tourney in nashville and loses by seven or eight without wiggins. They had the game won and blew it by fouling. Jackson central merry plays craigmont last wed and beats them 53 to 48. Jackson central merry plays hamilton tonight and loses by twelve. I agree the athleticism comparison wont even be close, but i promise you that hamilton hasnt seen any defense like the greene devils play all year. Yes hamilton is number one in tennessee, and yes they are the sixth in the nation, but i wouldnt completely count out greeneville, wiggins is as good a prospect and player as anyone that hamilton puts on the court.

If your coach is dumb enough to put mcgaha on wiggins then you will see it. And if he does do it, then you can kiss any chance at state goodbye because wiggins will drop fifty. In the open court you will get murdered.

Trust me if it can handle the dunks that Antwaine Wiggins puts on it, it can handle anything that any of your powell players can attempt. Wiggins is the sickist jumper in east tennessee, as you will soon find out.

Alcoa will blow South Greene out of the water. They have no chance against the type of athletes that Alcoa presents. Donahue can play but there is no way he will drop forty on Alcoa. My prediction is that he doesnt get more than 15. He is a good player against teams that don't play defense. When a team plays good solid defense on him he isn't anything but an average player. Also, darius probably wont make a shot all game or even get close. He seems to have a really hard time scoring if the team doesn't play a zone and has good athletes. Put Warren on Kyle and you will beat them by thirty or more.

No what was horrible was central's defense. It was an absolute joke. How do you give up 70 points to a team that has won four games all year? You can say the refs but they dont make that much of a margin. All central is worried about is getting the ball back so they can go down the court and jack another three. Central does shoot well but good luck against a team that plays defense and will tempo them, cause they haven t seen one all year.

Yes, I know that you had stated that earlier, and I never agreed nor disagreed with you. I also was not the one who "went off" on you, personally I think the reason they got mad at you was the fact that you made it seem like it was the coaching staffs fault for not scheduleing extra matches as if they knew this was goin to happen. He hasn't been fired at two places prior to this one moron. He has coached at the D-1 level and also at the professional level. He scored 15 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 steals, and 3 assists in the first game at Chattanooga Red Bank, STILL SLIGHTY INJURED. He then becomes healthy and scores 23 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, 5 assists, against Morristown West. Again against Chattanooga Red Bank, 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks, 4 assists. He isn t a very good player. Since your such a basketball genius why dont you tell the coach out at South Greene when they play that 3-2 matchup zone(cause they cant guard Greeneville in a man) to let Wiggins catch it at the elbow all night and let him shoot since he only scored 7 the game you saw. Yeah your right Greeneville is 3A and South Greene is 2A, but wait, South Greene only has about 200 fewer students than Greeneville. So the saying that Greeneville is suppost to win isnt because class size its becuase of the fact that Greeneville has a better program. Yeah he is doing one good job recruiting. Let's see how all the new arriving players have gotten here in the last two years. Jonathan Murner's father has a brother that lives in Greeneville now and was already living here before Jonathan moved up here. Jonathan's unlces son (Jonathan's cousin) already played on the team and Jonathan's family decided to move up here. Man, that really sounds like recruiting to me. Jimmy's dad was a coach at Eastern Michigan and got contacted through the athletic department at tusculum. He took the job and the rest is history. Science hill always has a competitive team but all the Sullivans and DB in the past two to three years would not have been able to beat Greeneville. And Greeneville wouldn't be in the top half of region 1? Have you looked at the Greeneville's record in the past 5 years? Im not sure if your living in your own little dimented world but everyone here in reality knows Greeneville would compete.

His name is Antoine Wiggins. He is moving to Greeneville from Kinston, North Carolina. He averaged 15.0 ppg as a sophmore. He is 6'6" and with his wingspan really has the play of a 6'9" player. I saw him, he reminds me of Tayshaun Prince in body style. My friend in that area tells me he is one good player.
