I am curious for I have not seen any other places where people can get online and start bashing where people work effecting their jobs and family. Take Riverdale for example. We are all familiar with the parent situation that she has going on. You notice I say parent and not parents. I am curious if this parent would like people harrassing them at the place that they work, harrassing their families, and telling lies about their performance to their boss and co-workers. Maybe there is a site for people in the insurance business that we can go to or maybe even administrative assistants. I for one would like to see a coach show up at a parents work and as soon as he/she hung up the phone boo loudly and tell them how bad they are at answering the phones and that they play favorites with the person in the next cubicle. By, the way we all know that would not happen without a quick departure from the business by some form of security. So why is it allowed in the gymnasium? So my question is what gives you the right to effect someones family life because YOU do not like the fact that your child is not good enough to be a starter on the team. Put yourself in someones else's shoe for once and that we all family to support. On a side note, the questions has been raised on why our kids are gettign softer these days. Well, I guess if you do not get what you want you can make a big deal, have your daughter quit the team, transfer to three schools and still feed her from a bottle when she is eightteen. The life of a coach, I know I would not want it.

I heard that the big kid for Cookeville did not play. Is this true?

Any word on where Columbia is scrimamging? I would liek to get out and see them before the season starts.

It is not everyday that you hear people complain that a coach was expecting to much form his players. I guess highg expectations is not what CC wants. I guess if you aim low, it is easier to hit.

East Hickman is now in there second season. What isthe outlook for the team (personnel) and the schedule.

That is an interesting point. Didn't he move up to Riverdale which has great tradition on 7AAA and a really strong program. I would think that they would not take some one on that did not know anything about basketball. And no offense to Coach Rigsby, but didn't he come from Warren County, where they have not won much at all? I think Rigsby could do a good job, and I am not sure about this sophomore class about how good they are. But, if I remember correctly Cannon Co. has not faired well in a long time in that district.

Hopefully DC won't him them as hard as they hit CC's starting pitching during baseball season. Good luck to DC it looks like Dekalb will sweep CC again, except for girl's basketball of course.

If anyone does not think that this was a set up, then you are blind. He did a great job at Lavergne and too win as many games as he did and then get fired, that is too fishy.

I thought that I had heard they were trying to bring back Nate Johnson the former boys assistant. Any news on this or if he has even been contacted? That is the word in the northerd part of the county. Also, heard that Centenial is still open any word on that?

Sounds exciting!!! What does that do for CHS in the district standings?

IHS and Overton is still on but the game times have been changed to varsity girls at 3:30 and the boys at 5:00.

My kids friends attend CHS and is on the football team. He told us that Smith was offered the CHS job, accepted it, then later quit to take the sience hill job. anyone else hear this?

As a fan of good basketball this game was a lot of fun too watch. The Coach at Indy out coached CHS. Up 18 points in the first half and not able to close the door. How about a time out when someone makes a run. Also, for most of the game CHS the refs were on your side. This was the worse officiated game I have seen in a long time. Some people were saying that two of the officals also did the JV games. Who schedules refs for 4 games in a day. Anyway the game was good and the district tourny should be even better.

I am sure that it is just rumor started by some parents. I saw them play early in the year and over Christamas and I think that they have some good talent. They are better then what they showed last night. I have heard that Hatley is a nice guy, so I hope it is not true.

Rumor has it that Brentwood is looking to make a coaching change at the end of the season. I know that they have been struggling, keeping in mind the blowout last night. Any truth to this?
