  1. What about current Science Hill Athletic Director and former Elizabethton Cyclone Keith Turner. He was very dominant in his years at EHS.
  2. I am a Science Hill fan who stayed and watched the DB-Central game last night and I must say that you guys have an amazing student section. I just wanted to give you props for all your support. Although we have some loyal fans at Science Hill, you would think that with a student population of our size we could bring a bigger section. Oh, well. Science Hill fans have newfound respect for Sullivan Central. Just wanted to wish both teams the best of luck on Friday night and may the best team win! Hopefully that best team will be SHHS!!

  5. I attended last nights game at Greenville and I must say that you guys have a great team in Greenville. But I do agree with Cap when he said any team is vulnerable at any time. Something that SHHS has to do is be consitent which they have had some trouble with this season. I think a big part of the lack of consistancy has to do with Coach Cutlip. It doesnt make sense to me why our starting line up isnt as follows TURNER WATTAD FORNEY LAUDERBACK CROWDER Also, why would you sit a player for a good bit of the 2nd half (AKA Crowder) when he has been dominant in the post almost all night. As to the comment about Forney, he is a great player, when he wants to be. Ever since the away Volunteer game if you look at his STATS and have also seen him play, you can only wonder what happened to him since the beginning of the season. Hopefully he can pull it together for tournament time. Once again congratulations to Greenville last night and we hope that both of us make it to regions so we can play once again. The rematch would be great.

  7. I could not have said it better myself. We can make our predictions, talk about numbers, talk about who beat who, but if someone doesn't show up, then they will lose. I look for both teams to show up and it will be a game for the ages.
  8. That's kind of funny because I seem to remember it differently. Do you remember Carolina Pottery Parking lot? My how quickly we forget. I remember seeing about three SHHS students owning about 15 of your guys. Oh well, Maybe we can recreate it at districts. See you in the parking lot.
  9. QUOTE(river271 @ Jan 25 2006 - 10:07 AM) all five of greeneville's starters can light it up on any given night. We can not help what conference we are in. All that matters are the post season tournaments in which greeneville will win. and the comment about not being able to match up against teams with a good inside game. Who does science hill have besides forney and wattad. I beleive thats only two players against our so call three that we have, and I believe to get to state thats what we have to get through. Greeneville will shock everyone at the end of the season because they just keep getting better. It is quite obvious my friend that you have not attended a Science Hill game yet this year. And yes, I will admit that I have only seen Greenville once this year, that being your so called "Great Victory" over Red Bank, and Red Bank was talented, but extremely one dementional. The same can hold true for Greenville. Science Hill has been on a roll ever since the Arby's when the lost to the number 7 team in the ENTIRE NATION by 17 points. I might also mention the fact that Science Hill was tied with BA going in to the 2nd half. You say that the only players Science Hill have are Forney and Wattad. While these two young me may be granted the title of the two best on the team, when these guys have an off night, we have players who step it up, such as Nick Crowder (20 against Sullivan Central) and Wes Lauderback (13 against Central). Did I mention that these are POST PLAYERS? So for all you Greenville Fans who seem to be living in La-La land, WAKE UP because the toppers are going to work you.

  11. What about the Science Hill or Unicoi County
  12. The Toppers were in action against Sullivan Central on Friday night where they demolished the cougars by 38 pts. Just when Topper fans doubted that they could top that flawless performance, they went to Volunteer and won by 53 while playing scrubs most of the second half. All topper players scored with the exception of one, and 8 topper players had at lead 2 steals. There were 4 topper players in double digits (Wattad, Lauderback, Forney, Odom) and 5 with 5 or more points. Landon Turner seems unstoppable with the ball, as he breaks the press with extreme ease, and always seems to find the open man. Althought Crowder didn't have a good showing at Volunteer, He and Lauderback have emerged as a 1, 2 knockout punch underneath for the Toppers. Forney is dangerous from behind the arc, but that really goes without saying. Omar Wattad had 27 pts. He outscored Volunteer by himself throughout the 3rd quarter. He more than likely would have had 50 if he would have gotten the minutes in the 2nd half. With this said, Could this be the year of the TOPPERS?
  13. Dobbyns Bennett vs. Science Hill Happy Valley vs. Unicoi County These are the two best rivalries in East Tenn.
