  1. I am planning on going to the MBA-Siegel scrimmage tomorrow morning if the rain holds off. I am not that fan-atical about watching a scrimmage if I have to do it in the rain.
  2. Apparently passi is not a math major either. 58 minus 47 equals 11, not 9.
  3. 8/1 9 am MBA @ Siegel 8/5 6 pm Siegel @ Brentwood Academy 8/8 6 pm Centennial @ Siegel
  4. I always thank Uncle Jim for the "ignore" button every time I see him.
  5. mjuhb does a pretty good job of projecting the playoffs during the season, so an early version is pretty cool to look at. It took a lot of effort to put together and beats the heck out of some of the retarded babble that some members post on this forum.
  6. LaVergne has a nice sophomore rb (already has multiple SEC and other D1 offers), they could be an interesting team the next couple of years (if Ensworth. BA, Oakland, etc. don't lure him away). http://www.usatodayhss.com/dnj/article/prep-notebook-la-vergnes-gray-picks-up-3-early-sec-offers--2013309250016
  7. Did you see the Pitt bowl game last season? IIRC he ran for the winning score late in the game (came in due to injuries and lit it up). "played the entire second half of the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl vs. Bowling Green when Savage was lost to injury and engineered a 30-27 victory by completing 5-of-9 passes for 108 yards and rushing twice for 24 yards...put Pitt up 27-20 by leading a six-play, 98-yard TD drive in the fourth quarter; completed 2-of-2 passes for 82 yards -- including a 62-yard bomb to Tyler Boyd -- and capped the drive himself with a five-yard TD run...on Pitt's game-winning field goal drive vs. BGSU, Voytik had a key 19-yard rush, the longest run by a Pitt quarterback since 2011..."
  8. Congrats to Coach Crawford for Riverdale HOF per the DNJ: MURFREESBORO — Six former Riverdale football standouts and coaches will be inducted into the Riverdale Football Hall of Fame at 6:30 p.m., July 18 at Stones River Country Club. Mr. Football winner Dave Thomas, former MTSU wide receiver Taron Henry, Ricky Fishback, Deon Martin and assistants Gary Whaley and Ron Crawford. Crawford, who is now the head coach at Cleveland, was the Warriors' defensive coordinator under former coach Gary Rankin from 1995-2001. Crawford won the 2002 Class 5A state title in his first year at Brentwood, beating Riverdale.
  9. Nick Boykin will be a pleasant surprise for Riverdale. Is the Oakland/Blaze week 0 a done deal now? So then Siegel vs. Riverdale is the replacement game?
  10. Cousin, SnB, looks like you upgraded to the wood grain interior, pretty spiffy!
  11. You can thank Riverdale and Coach R.
  12. Cousin, Coach Wyant has a lot of class and usually calls off the dogs when his team gets up > 35 points. So unless he gets a laugh reading PuckerA's idiotic gibberish (which I doubt) then 50 is probably about the limit.
  13. Cousin SnB, we may have to bring all the family fingers and toes from Mountain City to Memphis to keep score on this one. Siegel keeps scoring more points on hootervillle year after year after year.
  14. PuckerA is the founder, president, and CJS of NAMDLA
  15. That sign the cheerleaders are holding up is CLASSIC!
  16. I heard Raider76 was seen at the Russo abode with a huge bag with a red B on it.
  17. wow, good thing the internet was still just a thought locked up in Al Gore's brain back then..coacht would have blown up!
  18. that's a dang good list Cousin SnB!
  19. The Cookeville paper said that the THS coach held Sheffield out because of a high pitch count on Monday (sounds like he did not want to risk an injury to his athlete who will go on to bigger and better things). The THS coach is to be commended and not criticized for his decision IMHO.
  20. So instead of Oakland vs. Riverdale / Siegel vs. Blackman Week 0 changes to Siegel vs. Riverdale / Oak vs. Blk Week 0 Siegel vs. Blk / Oak vs. Riverdale Week 9 Coach Wyant would probably agree to the schedule change, does Riverdale have to agree to this as well? This would be great if it happens Did Beech and Station Camp have to juggle schedules to accomodate ESPN last year?
  21. edit: looks like Bennefield was in the 2 hole. From the DNJ report: "...Both teams also threatened in the first inning. Siegel's Blake Benefield hit a double to right field after Sheffield got the game's first out on a strikeout. Benefield moved to third on a wild pitch but was tagged out at the plate one batter later on Nick Kristinus' fielder's choice to second base..."
  22. Nice! Congrats to Tyler for earning the opportunity to join The Long Gray Line!
  23. Thanks fooseball... I saw Tyler was in the 100 and 200 and long jump, which are the same events that Paul competed in (Paul also competed in sprint hurdles...and was the first TN hs athlete to break 24 ft in the long jump... and I thought (Coach) Greg was a hurdler too).
