  1. I'm sorry for this idiot. You also should not be saying "WE" when talking about "Coach" that's funny, Sharp. If you are a SHS fan, BUTT out of this! If you're not show your true identity and keep SHS name out of it! Good luck to all teams!
  2. How have they fared so far in the district?
  3. The way I hear it Oneida won't schedule Scott!
  4. 1. I am a MAN. 2. You must be stalker, disgruntled ex, or just obsessed.
  5. First off, Coach Marcum is not interested in the job. I asked and he said "no I'm Home." "I love those people but I'm home." Next he has won 21 games in two years for us that is more than we had won in many years put together. With young players without any experience and we are returning everyone next year. Third everyone knows his record, everywhere he has been he has won. He never didn't win a county championship here, there or from what I understand any school he has been. And if I'm not wrong he won TMSAA champoinship at Wartburg. And to just look at his record here is crazy considering the shape the program was in. We now feel like we are gonna win every night. Last, when I told himwhat was on here he laughed and said "I am friends with all of the Davis's and they know I'm happy." He wishes his name was not in this because it causes the other coaches problems. He was not interviewed, is not interested, and only wishes everyone the best. I personally could see why some would want him back. 1. He is dedicated. 2. Loves and knows the game. 3. Wants what is best for the kids. 4. WINS! So don't worry about discussing it he's not leaving, WE WON'T LET HIM!!
  6. We know all to well about players quittin. This team is as seems close now as I've ever seen at Scott and I've been around for a while. Sometimes losing players can make you stronger. I haven't seen all of the games but, this team just does not want to quit now. The best thing is that they are finding ways to win games. You can talk about gimmies but the have won some tough games. I know they still have a long way to be a "GOOD" team but they have won 10 games. Where are all those people that were so eager to post all that negative stuff earlier like "maybe 2 wins". This team (players and coaches)has overcame alot now they deserve our respect and support. Keep playing hard girls!
  7. I would say that is the reason you only coached two years. I'm guessing you coached your little girls rec league two years that is why she can't handle COACHING. ANd just my guess why she is being told these things by her COACH. I don't know your situation ,but you have two choices 1. Qiut, and let the COACH build a team. 2. SHUT UP and let your daughter make her own way in life. She is very close to HAVING to do this on her own. Maybe you will just have to follow her around the rest of her life and make sure no one hurts her feelings. Just guide her and let her grow as a young adult. Give her advice, ie " try sitting down with your coaches and find out what they are expecting of you." Things like communicating with other "human beings" are the best way to build a strong relationship and program. NOT acting UNHUMAN and bashing them on coacht. You want a role model or "ADULT" start with yourself!
  8. Blackwidow the kids that quit didn't need to play anyway. They didn't work hard enough. Stop tryng to bring this team down. Good luck ladies.
  9. You are right the girls do try very hard. You're also right the coach is very patient and we do like him. You are not right about needing someone else to help them. We have 3 good coaches, we already practice on Sat. and We can come in on Sun. and work if we want. So thank you for the compliments, but Kingston needs you doing your "BEST ABILITY" more. Good luck and God bless.
  10. Glass, I have read your posts and I do think you have one interest and that is to devide this team and community. The TEAM has moved on and they are happy. You did say "Rome wasn't built in a day." Then you are acting like you can't believe they don't have 20 wins and everything is going to go smooth when you have a major change. When Tennessee has changed coaches on the men's teams they have lost two or three players everytime they had a change. Those are called "casualties." As bad as we hate that they quit, the fact is THEY qiut. Just like Wiley-gatewood quit are we going to thrash the coaching staff. I know, it's Pat! Thing is it happens with changes sometimes. What we need to do now is move on and back this program. If you can't do it without having negative or off the cuff comments do the same as if you were watching t.v. change the channel, or turn it off. Find another team or stop watching or writing about the that we have. Even if you don't support this coach and team you do have to tear it apart for those who do. If you are a supporter as you say you are........SUPPORT! Please stop picking everything apart. The players and coaches are working hard to give us something to be proud of. The thing that might be hurting the way that the girls are playing since those girls quit could be all the negative comments in the community about the TEAM and their coaches.
  11. I have a couple of questions for you HMOM. If you don't have a child why would you be on here trying to undermine a program when you don't have a dog in the fight? Next, if you are a fan and supporter, shouldn't you be doing just that? Supporting!! I am a fan, a real fan. I have been to all of the games and supported, win or lose, agree or disagree with every decision. You know, coaches even second guess their decisions sometimes in hind sight. But, any arm chair coach can do that. I acn assure you that Coach M. is doing the things that he thinks will get this program on the right track. If my memory serves me right alot of the names that you mentioned in your first OPINION(which by the way I think it is very in appropriate to type any childs' name on the internet without permission from a gaurdian of the child) were in the starting line up earlier in the year. I know coach gave the older girls the first chance to be productive and earn the coaches trust. From seeing all of the games the effort seems to be just as good if not better with the young kids. If you're building go with youth, that always seems to be the formula. Not knocking any of the kids, but it seems that some of the returning players are more reluctant to buy in to the style and effort needed to play the style than the younger players. Rightfully so with what they have endured the last several years. But how is the past our present coaches fault. It's not. If they want playing time with this coach they must work and produce when they get the chance, even if that time is limited. That is all you can ask from any coach. The limited time i'm guessing is due to the fact that they have lost the coaches confidence. The best advice as a supporter that we can give the players is to work harder. The old saying really applies in this case: Don't Whine, Don't complain, Don't make excuses, just give give effort! We need to get behind this team and coach and help this program.
  12. We MUST as fans and supporters stick with our kids and coaches to help get the through the early stages of the building process. We knew it was not going change over night. So we all have to be patient. Especially Coach. We are behind you!
