Huntingdon and Westview are class programs. I bet there was a lot of sportsmanship displayed by both teams during and after the game. Don't let a couple of wisecrackers get you fired up.

Thanks...lucky every now and then. I figured it could go either way. Huntingdon is stout and will be very stout next year. UC and Huntingdon could have a good little battle down the road. UC are playing like Champions and still will be heavily favored. They seem to be on a mission to destroy everyone through the first 2 games.

this game is going to be a dogfight. Going back over the last 5 or 6 matchups, the games have been decided in most by a touchdown or less. One season, I believe WV had a blowout win---but that is not the norm. I still say WV by 1, but wouldn't be surprised if H wins either. Both good programs that know how to win year in and year out. Should be a barn burner..

Good luck to the Rebels this year. You got a bad shake last year with that schedule and I believe should have been in the playoffs. Turn it around, it's a lot more interesting on here if y'all are doing well.

I'll be standing for the game, but it's always a home game for Martin if it's played in Martin. I just can't believe people are stupid enough to keep playing it there....when they're told they can be the home team every other year. Tells you a lot about Dresden peeps..."we're the home team, but we're playing in Martin"....lol I would sit with the real visiting team, but I would feel out of the place....too smart for that group and I have all my teeth.

I don't know what the big hoopla is about Coach Rang. He is a good, young coach, who made a mistake and owned it. Dresden should be lucky to be getting someone of that caliber. I don't think he'll be there for more than 3 years before he goes back East (home) though. My friends from that area says he'll run a very tight ship on and off the field and is very disciplined. A fellow East TN coach says he doesn't play politics and he doesn't get influenced by the outside, which is a style he learned while in high school from his legendary coach. He may be the next one in line for Maryville in a few years as well. Dresden should be excited and proud to get a Coach who knows the game, and won't make your administration/school look like a bunch of clowns.

Did a Dubriel put in for the head coaching position? I believe he is coaching in Obion County or UC now.
