rumor has it they are not going to hire a coach till after spring football... wow that would be another dumb move by HANEY AND GRUBB. but they make alot of dumb moves at that school as far as bringing in coaches ...Quirk, Daugherty what had they done to deserve those jobs plus both of those guys came into programs loaded with players..... look what happened to us when those two were hired................................................. and now they both walk away....if they wait till after spring football they are setting the new coach up for failure..

did the kid from hv go to the decathalon if he did he got out jumped by Harrison Smith of Knox catholic he went about 6'8 or 6'9. and some kid from hv went out at 6'6

no prattville stayed number 2. that is what motivated them to beat hoover there Sr. class has only lost 3 games and it would always be a close lose to hoover or opelika in the playoffs. so them being number 2 with a 14-0 record keep them hungry. Well I LOVE MARYVILLE AND THINK THEY ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE STATE BUT I PROMISE I HAVE SEEN MARYVILLE PLAY PLENTY OF TIMES BUT THERE ARE2-3 TEAMS IN ALABAMA THAT CAN BEAT THEM IN MY OPINION EASILY... hoover, prattville, opelika...those three are pretty equal teams... i

there were 30,000 at the game and most people in the state picked prattville to win it.. they have a bunch of guys returning next year also

i grew up in east tennessee and have alot of friends and family that have played at maryville.. but i went to college in alabama and having spent 5 years in alabama and watching hoover and playing with guys from hoover.. BELEIVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU.. maryville is good but hoover is on another level..I MEAN THEIR COACHES ARE AS GOOD AS MARYVILLES BUT THEIR ATH's are on a whole new level.. i hope they never play because it would make the state of tennessee football look bad..and i am a maryville fan... and i hope you guys are not comparing robert e lee to hoover because there is no comparison in those two schools.

sterling is a great player.. but how does he get to be u p for mr football and the kid from mcminn trace mcdermott was player of the year and rushed for over 1600 and like 26 td... but do not get me wrong sterling is for real but just wondering how he got selected over mcdermott

that does not surprise me last year i saw brainerds basketball players in the hallway bumping mcminn centrals players as the walked through for warmups. and then the kids from central said they were beating on the lockers and walls and talking crap to them ...so mcminn central just beat them 4 times in a row.. why does brainerd try to be so cocky and then every time they lost to mcminn central in basketball they blamed the refs.. let me guess it was the refs that beat them lastnight also... me message to brainerd STOP TRYING TO SCARE EVERYBODY AND JUST PLAY BALL. and then you guys will have a great sports program

everything i heard was about his grades... now people do not quote me on this i am just telling what people are saying they say his grades are the problem...i have heard it from several people. but i never understood if they meant he would not be eligible to play this coming up year or be in the same situation as dustin lindsey.... Did branden warren get is ACT scores back yet????????????

man i have talked to a few SEC coaches about players in east tennessee and they all have mentioned that it would be a shame if he did not get elgible this year or even next year.. i would hate to see all that talent go to waste next year

man, he could not have been offered by any d-1 or 1-aa schools because you can never pass up a big scholarship to go to a d-3 school for free... IS he as good as everyone made him out to be??? never saw him play just heard about him because i was told that he was an sec/acc talent.. so now i am wondering how he signs d-3 this late in the year..

how about trace mcdermott from mcminn county. had a dominating jr year in a very strong 5-A region

loudon will be good this year. they have a great player in josh hawkins but they can not play with alcoa so they are playing for 2nd this year again

you are correct about taking a test.. but the test only highly quailfies you to teach it does not certify you..(you have to do both) so how will he get ceritified in science by Summer.. if they are going to do so much shaking up why don't they go ahead and tell everyone so people that need to leave can go... and the football team can go ahead and get started. .. i was told by someone that was at the interview with him and two other people he had to get certified to teach Physical science...

i hear he has to get certified to teach science... i do not know any college that offers a certification program from march untill august

cody goodin won state in track in more than one event in 1997 justin needham won the state in wrestling and finished top four in the nationals in 99 so i was in school when they won those championships.. but this is a basketball forum.. but just wanted to correct your mistake... central does have a few state championships
