There are kids at every school that become academic ineligible...I am not saying that. I was responding to a post saying they wouldnt waste a scholarship on him cause he didnt make good grades, which is a ridiculous statement considering the school we are talking about. I am not hating on UT. I know all schools have thier share of kids that get in trouble, but most schools actually discipline thier players instead of suspending them from pre-game warm ups! The thing I was saying about UT is most of thier players that get in trouble are repeat performers! There is a definate lack of discipline at that school and nobody on here can argue there is not. Even look at thier players that go to the nfl...they are constantly in the news for something. No discipline in college and they get used to doing what they want! - And whoever said Shiverdecker could not play for UT does not watch a lot of football.

What new playoff format?

First of all, Brandon is going to stay at Florida State. This whole transfer rumor got started cause he missed his family, friends, and hometown. Most freshman that go away to college go thru the same thing. As far as the post that said they heard Rae was better than Brandon...Rae is very good and can play anywhere he wants to go. But to say he is a better defensive player than brandon was, would not be a good bet! Rae is good, like I said...but look at the stats the 2 had and remember that Brandon was being double teamed on his side!

Pharmacist, ...and dont need more RB's???? Did you watch football this year? Seems like they need a lot of help at running back! And as far as irrational goes...Did I say anything that wasn't true in my post? Facts are facts!

Tennessee isn't going to waste a scholarship on someonw who is too lazy to do his work in class????? - Didnt they just suspend someone today for not going to class and didnt they have a wr ineligible for the outback bowl for grades? Come on...Tennessee does not have many requirements for being on that team. They have some of the laziest criminals in the country! They may be #25 on athletic ability in the polls, but definately top 5 in breaking the rules!!! LOL

When is this game? Im tired of hearing these 2 guys from White House run thier trap. No disrespect to the school or community, but I have never heard of White House. Where is it? If they are so good, what are they ranked and why dont we know who you are? From my understanding, Alcoa plays the best teams in the state every year...well, the teams that will play them anyway. Look at Alcoa's schedule this past year and then look at White House schedule. Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about! If you cant win on your schedule, you wouldnt have been at .500 on Alcoa's!

I guess since he is a "great kid", that is why Tennessee dosnt want him. Seems like they are quicklt taking over Miami as the school with the most players with a criminal record!! LOL - I guess they dont see potential of him fighting in night clubs, shooting guns, assaulting women, or driving drunk. Discipline is definately not a priority with the UT coaching staff!

Why in the world is Tennessee not recruiting him still? I read in the paper today that they were recruiting him and just stopped. Chris said in the paper when asked why they stopped, that he didnt know, that he guessed they just stoppped communicating. With no disrespect to Rogan( cause he is very good) and other backs, but Chris is one of the best 2 or 3 backs in the state regardless of classification, if not the best. It would seem with all the trouble UT has had lately with the running game, they would atleast try to keep a great player from the area home...You would think Phil would have learned by now that he needs to keep area players here!

54-0....like said earlier, Alcoa had 2nd string players in on 3rd series(not 2nd) or it could have gotten real bad. Rankin did a good job of not making it as ugly as it could have been with a lot of starters in sweats and without pads on in 2nd half! Its hard just to keep running and running to try and not run up score after qtr and a half when qb and recievers need to stay sharp in game situations too.

Catback, I have to agree that this is by no way an upset...This would be like LSU beating the undefeated Rutgers team! Everyone around here knows that GP was way overrated and that this was gonna happen. The 2 regions strengths are not even close...Sweetwaters region usually always sweeps GP's in playoffs. If they played again 10 more times, GP still couldnt beat them or any of the other playoff teams in that region. If GP played in Sweetwater's region, they would not have even made the playoffs and would have been 5-5 at best depending on thier non-region schedule.

Yeah, this oughta be good! LOL!!! Which GP backer that was on here spoutin off about how good they were and how they were gonna redeem themselves against ALCOA will step up first? But hey, you have to give GP this...the score this year in the playoffs looks a lot better than the one last year!!!! - OH, WAIT A MINUTE...I FORGOT...GP WAS THE #1 SEED THIS YEAR PLAYING THE #4 SEED!!! HOW DOES AN UNDEFEATED AND 10 - 0 TEAM GET WHIPPED THAT BAD AT HOME IN THE PLAYOFFS BY THE #4 SEED? GP STILL HANT FIGURED IT OUT...PLAYOFF TEAMS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD! ---- MAYBE NEXT YEAR! On the bright side, you really, really didnt want to play the tornadoes again anyway!

Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion and to cheer for thier team...however, to come on here and say that you want Alcoa or things like Alcoa has another thing coming is absurd! Alcoa would beat GP by a min of 6 touchdowns and a max of whatever coach Rankin wanted to. Congrad's GP on a great season and good luck in the playoffs...hope you make it to Goddard field but gotta face reality...GP will be lucky to beat Sweetwater and will get beat bad by Loudon if makes it that far.
