What do you mean, "let us pray". That was pretty offensive to us Christians up here. Don't know what you think you have experienced, but their are many good people up here. I think its hard to judge York's passing game, they have ran the ball so well, they haven't had to have much of a passing game. I also think York's pass defense may surprise a few. How have passing teams faired against the Dragons this year? Trying to remember the passing teams....

True, there has been little "postseason success" up here. Many programs get excited when they overachieve. Is there something wrong with that? I think people have a right to get excited. Would Y'all be excited if you went to the Boro. That's kinda the way way it is now for us. Give me a break. Their hard work is paying off and they should enjoy it. The town really doesn't know how to react, but we all think it's pretty cool. May not happen again for a while. Go ahead and say what you want.

Rattle on. I would say York would want the rematch to prove the first one wasn't a fluke as you say it was. If SC wins, how does that prove that they are the better team? They will be one and one against each other. I would bet if York wins, you will say they are lucky again. Maybe if SC wins, we could say that luck factored into that. Maybe this, Maybe that..Fact is every team has a certain amount of luck in every game. Who would disagree? The ball is shaped very funny and bounces funny, don't you think? If SC wins, it will be because they have the most points at the end, and were the better team on that night. Ya'll have a very good team and good luck. Let's use some logic around here. No matter what we say, the players still play the game, and they will decide the outcome, not us. Sometimes people just need to chill out. York has only allowed 34 points through 6 games. I think that's about 5.66 per game. Pretty good IMO.

To be honest, I don't have any idea who you are. The only reason I knew you were the MLB is because it was posted several times. OK, hold up about Jamestown being full of Atheists. One person said they had a problem with praying around the goal post, and I honestly don't know what the problem is. You are correct, there are some posts of praise, and it's appreciated, but this one just stuck out to me, I guess. A team loses and someone post saying that they didn't play well is a double slap in the face to the loser. Just saw the Vols blow it in the 4th and that had me in a terrible mood, LOL!

"Handily", are you serious? what was the score in the 4th, 7-7 right. Check the stats, It was a pretty good matchup. Had it been at YAI, Do you think things would have been any different? I'm sure you'll say no, but 7-7 in the 4th, in the "hole" is hardly "handily".

How on earth could you know that york played as well as they could? Do you scout them every week? Maybe the reason the Owls weren't "on" had something to do with the Dragons. Maybe Yorks offense was way off. The QB threw 3 picks in the 4th, we know that's not normal. Who in the world knows? Two teams played on the field. Let's leave it at that and it seemed pretty even to me through 3 1/2, but it is a 4 quarter game, and SC stepped it up late. Let's at least give a little credit to the lowly Dragons.

I just saw the stats. This is how evenly matched they were: Rushiing: York 38-144 Smith 40-144 Passing Yards: York 58 Smith 62 WOW!!

Well, It was a great game through 3 1/2 Qtrs, anyway. Congrats to the Owls, but for 3 1/2 qtrs it was anyones game and that is encouraging to York. York has nothing to hang their head about. Great experience for the young QB. Hopefully they meet again! The score doesn't reflect how close the game was IMO. Maybe york still surprised a few tonight since they had been downsized to a pee wee team on this board for the past week. I know some of ya'll didn't think it would be 7-7 going into the 4th. IMO, being in the "hole" made the difference late.

I don't think Buzzard is an actual york fan, not a representative of us because he didn't know if wright was still the coach, he is. I however am a Jamestownian and think it will be a very good game. We weren't supposed to beat Macon last week, but pulled it out. York has a very good running game once again, especially with Payne back there. The quarterback is young but tough, physically and mentally, and we actually have a good wide reciever. I still think however that it will be a very tough game for us to win in Carthage, but hopefully it is possible. Good luck to both teams, hope no one gets there head knocked off.
