i have that one figured out. you see the lower the seed hampton is the larger the seed that they will have to go against. see then they have a reason for their potental early departure. pujo is very wise man, do not underestimate him. to catch a killer think like one, to catch pujo, think how can make hampton look good. EXAMPLES: you got lucky, there better than their record, we had the stronger sched. they dont play anyone, we lost a lot to grad. cosby has been doing the pooch for 4 years these kids forgot. bla bla bla. i would give more examples but it would take to long. just go have fun eagles yours if you want it

Cosby has to get points when inside the 20. they cannot afford to get that close and not. turnovers would be hugh, but more important is that the defense keeps them between the 20's. for the cosby D added focus on 1st and 3rd downs. cosby O go out execute play like your behind. oh and luck lots of luck ( just a joke if cosby play hard and gets physical they can get that 1st one.

i dont post much but i guess i should put my 2 cents in on this. if the eagles that i know show up and execute the offense and play smart assignment football. the eagles could very well win this one in a big way. i have one question how can the better team & better coaches, seeming they ARE better, be embarressed like they were by cosby. you would think a better......... would be able to maintain a lead. where was the HAMPTON PRIDE, WILL TO WIN, THIS IS OUR REGION, WE OWN THE WORLD attitude. half the fans left before it was over and the game was far from over. some fans they were (25?). were was the adjusting to the pooch kick? i never saw it!! I would think the better team/ coaches would have started looking to the bench before the third one. oh another thing sense when has a mighty HAMPTON BULLDOG been afraid of a little pooch?

dont know how this one will go. saw one post that said hampton only practiced special teams for 5 min one day. better change up the practice sched. and add a period here and there. adam 25 hate you bugged out heard there was alot of mouthing from both sides. to be expected in a game like thaat though. really hated we did not get to see the 100 yard halftime show. good luck hampton.

way to go eagles!!!! great job to come out and get the win. i dont know what shelton said and the coaches did to adjust but man wish i could have been in there. what a game loved every sec. if cosby can get a attitude inside the 20 who knows what can happen. i find it very funny that young 25 has no guts to get on here after running his mouth. he trashed everything in cosby/cocke co. along with coach shelton. what a joke he is a real man would have made a humble appearance oh i forgot he just a kid living the flag football dream. hey coach could you record some of those pregame/halftime speaches that have those young men foaming at the mouth with a glare of destruction in their eyes for those of us that dont get to hear? or do you even say anything or is it someone else on staff? just curious..

dont know about everyone else but i sure hope cloudland and cosby can give grace a dose of their own medicine. i cant believe the things i have heard and read about how grace has done other teams. my guess is that even given the opportunity coach shelton and company will call of the dogs if given the chance. sure would like to see someone go for 2 up by 25 plus with 2 min left in the game. coaches like coaches with class because what goes around comes around. cant wait to see how the next 2 week pan out. going to be exciting. is the cosby nation going to do anything special on halloween night?

what year was your freshman year? if i am not mistaken the last group of players to show any competiveness was class of 2002. steven ball paul shelton matt miller jerome carmicheal (dexter carr?)ect. i think the biggest problem has been coaching consistancy. you cant be successful when every time you turn around there is a new coach. sad thing is its with all sports there. my guess there will be a coach change again this year somewhere within the athletic department. no one what to go there and no one thats any good at what they do will stay. best of luck to CCHS and coach Kelly, got alot of work to do. everyone wants to see CCHS and the CHS go at it on the gridiron. maybe someday. i think there would have to be alot of security there. there is some love between the 2 but not much. not sure if the CCHS program could afford to play them.

more athletes? i call it 50/50! i think more cosby players showed better than granger. i thought the gill kid was supose to be good? did he play or was someone else in that jersey friday. the one thing thats true and granger won was the smart mouth punk play! cosby coach and player told me at the little league game granger players were beating on cosbys lockeroom door chanting "f you cosby after the game.LOW CLASS!!! granger should have beat cosby 50 to 0 with the size and numbers thay had. no telling what cosbys coaches could do with that team. mcbee was a classless act of an athlete and in sorry shape. he was doubled over after the first 15 plays of the game. he had to go out on defense and come in on passing downs. cosbys boys stunk it up stood tall and refused to come out. that attitude mcbee showed will just get him no where cant wait till he gets put in his place with an added big head reduction. i dont care what kind of athete he is, i cant see a coach putting up with that crap at the next level. good luck eagles this week this fan knows you will finish strong. your 8-0 in my book!!!!!!!!!

i bet i know of a game where the officiating was worse. sounds like the crew that refed that game must have been looking at the abusive acts that grace had been participating in on friday nights this year. funny to me how grace is the first ones to get on here and start ref bashing. i guess not getting there 60 points and the other team getting more than 6 really got under there skin. i really hate that for them.

i am not one to know the facts, but i dont think cosby has ever won the region or a playoff game. i would assume that coach shelton has probably come the closest. regardless what does it matter. from what i see and what little i know he and his staff have done everything to get them were they are now. when you go from not winning to winning that says alot. you keep that up and regional championships and playoff wins will come. i guess that for some people things just come easy. not sure about his record have to get that from someone else.

hamptons schedual is a tough one, but thats good and the main reason they preform well and are the ones to beat. as for cosbys its pretty tough too. real challenges early and they took care of them. may not have been pretty wins but they were wins. grace has not been challenged yet except for oakdale smacking them in the mouth early because grace was standing around saying, look at me, look at me. then they went on to humiliate them. i think cosbys doing the right thing to get some tough games so they can be tested. i am like everyone else i want to see what grace does when they get a solid team with good coaches that know how to attack. all i know is i am in agreement with pujo last 4 week of the season will be interesting. grace please be kind to these next two teams and you might get some kind remarks from the coacht family.

grace christians schedule is a JOKE!!!!!! they have dones nothing to be state ranked. as for cosby do i feel they deserve to be in the top ten. hard to say. when you look at what they have done so far you can understand why they would get the votes, are they a top ten team not sure want know till there are only ten teams left.

zaza90 i dont think coach shelton and his staff have done enough to have anybodies confidence. they have mine cause i have seen the improvements, and so have you. then again i dont think shelton and his staff really care what people think. however i do know they do appriciate it when someone does notice like yourself

wow i think this has to be a first. i cant belive no one has got on here and trashed or bad mouth cosby. hardly any comments at all that wierd. everyone must not care, tired of making fun, or have a little respect. i am sure the coaches and players appriciate it. thanks to pujo and his comments bu cosby started football in 1990 and if i am not mistaken there first win was against cloudlands JV.

so what is going to happen this year? are the eagles going to be able to come back from that awful season last year? are they headed back down to never rise again. i know they have most of their players back. the question is are they any better? i am not sure it hard to say commitment will tell alot.

i am a little new to this so bare with me. as for grooms he has a cracked rib or 2 not broken. i happened to see most of the game congrats to cloudland they have improved greatly. showed a true team effort with heart and determination. as to everyones opinion, everyone has one. here is mine cosby is struggling, with starting qb out as well as several other banged up. tough first 2 week loses has team and players donw therefore your lack of effort when the going got rough which sometimes is expected with young kids. no excuse however. plain and simple cloudland was hungry cosby needs to get thier appitite back and finish strong. oh one other note for you that really doesn't matter 5 starters had to sit and watch 1 st quarter for discipline reasons.

i read the papers too. hampton starters were in at the start of both 3rd and forth quarters against west greene.

well like i have said before i dont post much on here because most of the time it is trash talk and bad mouthing. i have to say this i am tried of everyone talking about cosby not playing anyone. so i did some research. hampton and unaka have not played very tough teams either. hampton 4-1 got beat by johnson co. who have 2 of their 4 wins against unicoi and HV and we know both are not very good this year, 3 of their wins are against jellico 1-4, west green 0-5 and unicoi 1-4 with that win being against HV who again we know is not very good having to fight to beat west green. then they beat unaka. unaka 3-2 has beaten a weak chuckey doak team 0-5, grace who have won 2 games and that was against mt. juleit 0-5 and redbowling springs 0- and forever. and hurly VA 0-3 with 1 game that i could not find a score on. i bet they lost it. so if you dont mind enough about the teams we and you have played. who cares about the "A" after the school weak is weak strong is strong.

how can you go and bad mouth cosby's coaching staff. they won maybe 6 games in five years to winning that many last year. you dont think shelton and his staff had anything to do with that. sure they may have better athletes now. have you ever stoped to think they are better coached now and that has made the differance. that is what you are saying about unaka. you guys are so 2 faced. to prove that you all act like you hate each other up there in carter county ut you stick together like thieves. shelton got robed by not getting coach of the year last season. i bet every coach up there voted for jc campbell. dont get me wrong he had a great year but shelton should have got something. i dont post much on here but sometimes i have to speak my mind. good luck friday

your crazy if you dont think that the weather doesnt effect even good team you should know that from last year. cosby played you all tough last year. so you are saying one of two things. either cosby is a good football team you need to look out for, or the weather was a factor. which is it there BIG DAWG???????

so it it true that west greene has picked up some new players last week. some people have relayed the info that they have. it sounds like the eagles are dirty players now. just because a player tells another player he has his number does not mean he intends to hurt him. it means i here your big talk with your mouth lets see what your pads say. KIDS and ADULTS blow everything out of proportion. let the kids strap it up and take it to the fields. you people kill me.

well hampton played johnson county when it was dry and not 4 inches of MUDD!!!! so how can you compare cosby's yardage to that of hamptons. thats just rediculous. i agree that it dont always matter where you are playing. i know this much i bet coacby at least mows there field for the hampton cosby game. oakdale is not a bad team and yes jellico did beat them in again a very very wet game and field where anyone who knows football anything can happen. i am not saying cosby runs the table or can beat hampton, but then again anything can happen. lets just see what happens.
